rossi has nothing to do with that list. villareal is awful and it's because of the attack.
Rossi is injured, that's why their attack is awful.

Can Rossi play outside of a trident? If so, he could be useful. But I don't think he can.

Everyone knows we are a defender short in LB and unless Caceres is signed to play there and performs, this should be our first area of concern in the summer. However, how important do you guys think signing a top notch attacker. I strongly think getting a top attacker should be our priority along with the LB this summer. We don't have any forwards who can carry the attack on their own. Most top teams have that important attacker who can score a goal out of nothing, find space and unleash a powerful strike on top corner, create that magic somewhere. We used to have it with DP, and to some extent Zlatan. Currently Matri has a weak shot, we are not going to see him strike outside the box.
We have Quag and Vuci who can really sting with their shot but these guys are no where near top notch class. We need someone like Zlatan is for Milan, Etoo was for Inter, Rooney for Man U, Aguero for Man C, RVP for Arsenal, Rossi for Villareal. I know some thinks that we shouldn't waste money on the forward, but even Conte was impressed on how easily Milan overcame Cagliari at home with Zlatan just popping the goals out of nowhere like the freekick. Regardless about what number they will be wearing, we should sign a great forward ( 30 million maybe)... what does the majority thinks about this?

Etoo and Rossi in the same line= absurd. Thats what i think. Agree with the rest.

If we can snap Rossi up for 18M then I'm all for it. After a poor year and no CL for Villareal I could see them needing cash. Maybe we'll have extra money left over to sign a quality midfielder and a quality defender.

3 big quality signings in each department.

I'm trying a more realistic approach and I think Juventus will pursue Rossi again in the summer transfer window. I would love to have Higauin or Jovetic here, but I don't think we'll do it. Jovetic I'm still hoping for, but if Marotta can get a good deal for Rossi our chances for Jojo are slim to none.

I wouldn't be surprised if our mercato for the summer consists of this:

- Rossi (CF)
- Giovinco (recalled)
- Nainggolan/Montolivo (CM)
- Cissokho (LB)
- a bunch of bench signings.

Got your point, skill wise they are both league apart, but i am referring to their individual important on their respective teams attack. We do not have any attackers who can influence our attack in such manner, as compared to those players. Even no one here influence our attack as much as Rossi influences Villarreal's attack.
