I don't think so. Sure, we won't have as much control as we do now - but Vidal can just stay back and work his magic there. Idk, but Hernanes is really good and Pirlo is 32.
true pirlo is 32 but pirlo doesn't run , never has run even when he was 23
he plays slow the only thing that pirlo needs is his tecnique and vision and he will have them forever
pirlo underperformed in 3 games until now and all the team was in a bad condition

Without a good ball-player deep (Vidal is not a good ball-player) you won't control the tempo the way you can with Pirlo.

Without that good passer in a deep area, it is also harder to get the ball forward to the attacking players.

I don't see why Juve would do something like that - which would quite radically alter how they play - when they've only just found something that works for the first time in several years.

We are being linked with candreva now.
Havent seen him play since the last time he played for us.
I have been impressed by him back then and if he is still as good or better i think it could be a good piece of business signing him

I agree. Anyways, I think we don't need a direct replacement for Pirlo right now as I believe our management plan to groom Marrone/Appelt in his role.

I find that hernanes plays higher up the field, almost a trequartista

DDR and banega do not have the passing ability of pirlo (neither does Modric), but they are more defence then attack orientated in my opinion

I havn't seen enough of sahin, and alcantra is also more comfortable further up the field from what I have seen

I agree with this. Though i think Conte's post-Pirlo vision is to have a combatative midfield and leave the creativity/attack duties up top. Like the older Juventus and Man U now.

Personally i don't like it. Juve won't match the intensity of EPL teams anyway, and if the front 3 are covered... we'll be f*ked like all those losing finals in the 90's.
