is there any player in the world that is not getting old?
a player at the age of 29, that had an amazing season, but a while ago
that is also injury prone, and had his best period a while ago
and, is a striker who tend to significantly drop in quality as they pass 30 ?

35 mil would be absolute nonsense.

DDR isnt getting any younger I mean 29 already
DDR however, plays in the CM/CDM position, and these players offset their loss of pace by expirience, positional awareness and reading the game. a player with an engine like DDR is likely to play on a very high level of quality till he is 33/34.
That 16 mil release clause, i would fucking take it immediatly, and drop radja.

attackers, are expensive, for obvious reasons

Vucinic is untouchabale since he is the best of those we got, leaving matri and pepe.

Now matri is fine, and will be increasingly better if more creativity and talent surrounds him.

Pepe, this type of player is critical in our system to cover pirlo. him+vidal+marchisio press opponents dead. however, his offensive talent is pretty limited, to replace him, we need a player with the same defensive skills, but added offensive capabilities.

SO, if we are to upgrade our forwards, we'd be looking at matri and pepe.

IF we are to upgrade, the player eighter gotto have what matri offers and more technical/creative ability, or what pepe offers, with added technical/creative ability

That kind of players, are very expensive. BUT, its the only players worth purchasing since we have a good solid base of forwards.

If you dont want to read the wall of text, what i'm saying basically is, with

vucinic-matri-pepe

we are covered, and if we spend, the replacement needs to be significantly better then the current player,

Pirlo is world class, DDR not so much so case isnt closed Hustini. DDR couldnt lick pirlos boot

DDR is world class and a completely different type of player than Pirlo.

My point wasn't of quality, rather at Pirlo's age he is still brilliant. 29 is not old, especially when you have Vidal (24), Marchisio(26), Appelt (18?), Marrone(21) and now Radja (23)...adding a NOT OLD DDR at 29 years old would be absolutely brilliant.

Our midfield is not old at all man. Not even close. Pazienza, probably leaving, is 29.

i don't see any point at signing de rossi if we continue with the 433 but if we do the 41212 than i would accept him with my arms open
in the 433 you need to bench one of our current middfield and don't know who that might be

DDR would suck up a lot of wages. Not to mention: I am still unsure as to why exactly isn't Man CiNi making a move on him? Is it that his place won't be guaranteed or that they were told the FFP limit has already been passed?
But Cavani wouldn't be possible without a lot of sacrifices and would mean that a summer mercato of, at most, 2 players arriving.(and the other one won't be the Jojo/Hummels type) Still I would be quite happy as that would mean no Borriello and the age of the three musketeers (Amauri, Iaquinta and Toni) would be behind us...

De Rossi ain't happening, but it would be fantastic.

Pirlo, Marchisio, Vidal, Nainggolan, Marrone and Appelt sounds really good to me anyways.

Starting:

Vidal - Pirlo - Marchisio

Sub/Reserve:

Nainggolan - Marrone - Appelt
