the only player I see fit to replace Pirlo in our current set up would be Modric
DDR - end of discussion.
Thiago Alcantara :snoop:
wrong none of them can replace pirlo the only one who can replace pirlo is xavi
the only one that posibly can give the same quality
you are forgetting that pirlo is the best regista in the world
if than we need someone to make him rest i would like it more if we put one of our young ones in his position like marrone

No he doesnt. Atleast the players mentionned in those Gerd quoted are straight up creative playmakers, in varying degrees, Plus Banega too, but while its one of DDRs arsenal too, he is not someone to sign primarly for that role since it isnt his main strenght.

Lol at thinking DDR can replace Pirlo. There is no way he will ever be able to. DDR is great but very different from Pirlo.. IMO the one player that could be a fine replacement to Pirlo would be Modric. Notice I said a fine replacement..

But DDR does have the same qualities as Pirlo, plus some additional ones. :D
he has additional qualities that is true he is faster he has a better taclking but he doesn't have neither pirlos touch vision and fantasy in fact no one has
pirlo is the best in the world as a regista

Players that could replace Pirlo are the kinds of Xabi Alonso, Fabregas, D'agostino etc.
I'm not talking quality-wise. I'm talking about their style of play and how they choose to control the game.
Maybe Fabregas not so much these days but back when he was at Arsenal and played at a deep lying role.

yeah i am ok with that , but you must also take in account that everything is not the same without pirlo
everything seems easier when pirlo is around , you give him the ball in every situation and you are sure that the ball is in the right legs and he gives passes always to the right place ect
you must think good what you will do without pirlo althrough you will place a player that does the same job
to make it simple , when pirlo was at milan and he didn't play ancelotti didn't try to find a replacement to do the playmaker , in his place ambrosini used to play
totally different type of player
i am not saying it can't be done but everything is easier when pirlo is around he creates some sort of dependency
and i don't think that any of those names mentioned would actually accept the bench execpt d'agostino
because as long as pirlo can walk he will be on field

I hope the management takes a look at Sahin for a possible summer acquisition, if it's their intention to find a proper Pirlo "replacement".
i heard voices of intermerda for him if he doesn't play he could come out for cheap and it would be a nice deal but i still hope they try with one of ours for pirlo
marrone can do good althrough will give a different aproach being more physical gabriel from what they have told me is like xabi and they say schiavone is the new pirlo i would probably try one of those with pirlo close they can grow even more

in the meantime galliani has signed lopez ahahahahahahahahahahahah

Sahin would be :tuttosport:

Wanted him here before the madrid move
Yeah, Sahin would be the perfect player for us. I wish we got him, I can't believe RM paid so little for him.

Start:
Vidal - Sahin - Marchisio
Reserve:
Nainggolan - Pirlo - Marrone

Our reserve would still probably be the best in Serie A. If we were able to get Sahin and Nainggolan. What a dream...

+1
There's no need to get a 'vice' Pirlo. We just play someone else with their own style (probably more of a DM) which allows the other mids to push forward more.

Or else, drop Vidal and Marchisio back and play someone like Pastore in front of them.
