i think borriello could be the replacement of pirlo

bold statement isnt it ? wel not that much

basically we'd replace pirlo by a more physical CM, preferably one able to controll the pace and imposes himself on the game.
because of the massive pressure out centremids can provide, we are able to play another creative target/playmaker up front

FUCK I WANT DE ROSSI T_T
:shifty:

I don't really see Boriello as the vucinic type, much more direct

i think he could play a simular role as vucinic, enabling us to change our gameplan from massive pressure and workrate, to a bit less, but alot better connection and possession in the final third

turning beeing 29, he still has at least 2 good seasons in him, wich should be the duration of his contract

the position, yeah, but he is a good addition, for the right price likely, and i think it wont hurt the chance of C comming here if we sign him
No, he can't. He doesn't has half the technique Vucinic possesses.

If we're going for a forward (striker, creative, whatever), adapted do A and not too expensive... why not Gio? I thought we didn't even want a forward for January and I was actually ok with that, but this move makes no sense at all to me. We're pretty much covered in Borriello's position and with a good variety of players to play in it too.

Del Piero, Matri, Quagliarella, Vucinic and Toni... all of them different options and I believe Borriello would get Toni's place. I just don't get why.

Precisely. Why not a guy that has great ball skills, can take on players, leave them for dead, embarrass them, have a shot on goal, instead of some filth infested scumbag that has no ball skills and is no better than Iaquinta?

i mean his role

Vucinic :

- efficient pressuring opponents, nice workrate

- our main connection up front

- creates room for himself and others with intelligent running, creates chances with great vision and passing

-good goalscorer

basically, he gives us the ability of possession in the final third, ability to do the unexpected, and technical quality in general

if we'd start a physical CM

boriello could be played on the right, more swerving.
we'd get simular possession, dribbeling, third best finishing ability in the team, and even more movement for the team.

thats why i think he would be good for us

Buddy, Boringiello posses not even 50% of Vucinic's ball skills. He has zero play making ability.

He's useless outwide . He would be good in the middle and is a better dribbler than matri

he could do the same job, in a different way.

vucinic has better balls skills, borriello has good controll and can hold a ball better then any of the other forwards/wingers, can dribble better then any of the forwards wingers, and, has better scoring ability then any of the forwars /wingers

not playing him as a right winger, that would hinder lichts forwards runs, more like a center rightplayer, swerving around, to connect with

"creates chances with great vision and passing"
"ability to do the unexpected"
"for our system, borriello is a logical replacement for krasic"

That's not Borriello. He's not a second striker.

He's a good player and won't harm our team obviously, but I'm just pissed by the way our board seems to be rating Matri. Or Quagliarella, for that matter. They're both better than Borriello.

vucinic has better balls skills, borriello has good controll and can hold a ball better then any of the other forwards/wingers (Toni and Del Piero to say the least), can dribble better then any of the forwards wingers (*probably any winger*, Vuci, Ale and Quag again), and, has better scoring ability then any of the forwars /wingers (Matri and Toni)

There you go.
