Ideally, the younger players not getting straight into the team should be sent out on loan like Giovinco has, so they get first team football for a season when they're closer to 20 (not 24 years old like Seba). Sørensen is probably going to be the first test.

Secco's time here was obviously a disaster, hard to debate that, I remember our chief scout hailing Hazard back then. Like I said, we'll have to wait to see if there are any names Marotta can be put along with those, at the moment Juventus has to purchase players that are established first XI players.
Naturally the standard has to be raised so the players we bring in has to challenge the first eleven. Preferably take the team to the next level. I would however still argue that with the amount of players we bought one or two of these should have been potential players. We haven't bought any player with potential we bought players who had already finished their fully potential.

Saw Reus the other day play for my first time. He looks incredible! Then again playing the Werder Bremen's defense doesn't need WC players... How good was he last year? Never heard of him until a few weeks ago.

I don't think Vidal has. Matri is still improving too. But none are of the age where they would have the ability to improve to where you're talking about (WC).

I don't want Tevez. He's WC and a brilliant man on the pitch who would probably get us the scudetto. But he's so not stilo juve... could be our antistilo. Hmm, antistilo, that would be a sweet name.

obviously he wasn´t as good as this season but he still was one of the main reasons gladbach could avoid relegation. also one of the few players who didn´t play horrible until favre took over. afair he also scored the important away goal in the relegation play offs.
furthermore i can´t remember him being injured at all but i´m not quite sure about that.

btw: like 2 pages before someone (nickolas?) said that he and goetze are way too expensive. i agree with goetze but according to german media reus can leave at the end of the season for 18mio.

//edit: i looked up his stats:
he played 32/34 games, started all of them and always played at least until the dying minutes.
10 goals, 9 assists (in a team that finished 16th...).
picked up 9 yellow cards so he was sidelined for 1 game for that reason. so it seems like he was injured for 1 game or the coach just didn´t want to play him there (which seems unlikely).

i would love to have him at juventus. it´s a shame that he won´t play a key role at the german national team in the forseeable future :(

Reus
let steal an other bayern wanted player

dutch media constant saying he goes to bayern in the summer to replace ribery or robben

would be epic to steal him again from bayern :seven:

juventus >>>>>> bayern

Tevez and Montolivo in January. De Rossi, Hummels and Giovinco in the summer. We'd be rocking it hard.

IN:
Tevez - 25 mil €
Montolivo - 5 mil €
De Rossi - Free
Hummels - 15 mil €
Giovinco - 5 mil € + 2 youngsters
----------------
= 50 mil €

OUT:
Krasic - 12 mil €
Melo - 13 mil €
-----------------
= 25 mil €

50-25 = 25

And we have a great team all around. Make it happen Marotta.

He's 22 now right? Should mean he could still improve. 10 goals and 9 assists in that team as you say sounds rather good imo. The nine yellow cards doesn't bother me, shows he's aggressive and not someone who doesn't dare to tackle or win the ball back. No red cards accordingly so he hasn't done anything "stupid".

Maybe Nicho is right, I don't know. His face is still rather new to me and I've only seen him once. But he was brilliant in that game. As someone said earlier German youngsters are looking fearsingly good! Italy should have a look and see what they're doing and see if they are doing something italian teams can teach from.

tevez wont cost us that in wages, id say it is closer to 3/4 mill as we'll be looking to loan him till the end of the season. Besides it could be a gamble worth taking since selling Amauri will free that up significantly.

as for de rossi there is little point even dreaming of him, we're not getting him as most of us know already.

Hummels i somewhat doubt we'll land in January, Although we're in position to move for him, Conte hasn't given any indications to give Marotta the go ahead.

I heard city don't want to loan him.
You can only loan him with a obligation to buy and it cost 5 m to loan him plus wages
they want to get ride of him
and since he plays for the money I don't see him taking such a huge paycut

well it wont really be a paycut as such, since he will be practically earning the same as he does now, but if we were to take him on loan for 6 months he would earn half of his annual wage at city if you get what i mean.

Ultimately I don't think city have much of a choice, they can decide to keep him and see if they can reconcile their differences, but i think that boat has past, I don't see any club looking to pay what city want for him, unless it was a club like Psg or Anzhi, but again i somehow doubt Tevez would be keen on a move to either clubs.
