I have a feeling we won't pick up Montolivo, I think he's off to AC Milan.
We'll probably pick up a CM like Nainggolan, who can sub for Marchisio or Vidal yes, but we still lack a Pirlo sub.

How many years can Pirlo have left in him? 2 at max? We need a replacement for him, and we need one quick and of high quality.

It being a kickback on a FIAT/Ferrari deal was the only thing I could think it could possibly be.
All those fiats being sold in brazil to find neymar will need tires of course

jokes aside the only way I see monto fitting in is a pirlo sub...no way we can play our current style with both of them on at the same time

Yes, Montolivo would have to take a seat on the bench to sub in for Pirlo.

Pirlo's 32.

No reason for him not to have two good years left, and maybe another couple of a slightly lower standard/playing less often.

Seedorf can still cut it at 35.

It's really a crapshoot whether he can or can't. Some guys can, some can't. But you'd think that he wouldn't suffer that much since he doesn't need speed at all to be effective, but who knows.

They have a huge debt as far as I remeber, that's why they've sold Villa, Silva and Mata.

God damn, they would have such a rocking team if they had kept them.
:agree: I used to love them a few years ago.

:tuttosport:

Vicente was amazing, shame injuries ruined his career because he was WC at times. Plays for Brighton in English second division now...

I always had a soft spot for Joaquin (Betis days) and Vicente (who I think came second for a ballon D'or circa 2001-2002 iirc) he was such a class player whose career went the worst way possible, still like him a lot.

It's sad that he plays in brighton now, when I bought Fifa 12 I was looking for him in Valencia's squad.

I love Ranieri's quote about him:

It is clear that he is one of the best players. Some footballers are a little more than others and Vicente is one of them.
:touched:

could work I suppose. Who the hell knows wtf Beppe is thinking. In the summer he said Juve will get champions only and now he said don't expect much in january.

oh whatever
I don't think he ever said that. He did say we will get 3 champions. Pirlo, Vidal and Licht? :D
