Vidic isn't getting younger plus Man Utd don't really need him anymore with Jones and Smalling. Man Utd have apparently wanted Krasic for the past couple of years. I doubt Vidic is worth more than €20m and he's been a little injury prone lately but Serie A is much less physical than EPL.

He's still their best defender and I don't see them selling him for someone like Krasic, especially when they have so many wingers much better than him. Their system requires passing and dynamic movement, which Krasic lacks.

Seriously, though, Montolivo at Milan may well be a diff player than the one at Fiorentina ... just because he's not a high profile player now, that doesn't mean he won't step up to the next level at Milan ... and it's not like he's gonna cost a fortune.
Worst case scenario, he would be a fine, depth player for Milan.

If Gotze and Ramirez could play in those positions I'd say that's a pretty nasty team!

Ramirez can play anywhere. He's Nedved-like.

I wonder how far we can go with someone like Vidal playing at CAM. It's unusual but it might work in other ways. He would provide far more pressure than players like Ozil etc and can still be creative.
Would love to see that formation in a big CL game.
