De Jong is a faggot. That's not how you play the game, and he should've gotten a red.
where i live, ever since i watched football, they allways praised spanish football, because they play like johan crap has told them to.
italian football is defensive, boring, and a pain to watch.
thats the general consesus at least.

Liking italian football in belgium is very hard, because everyone that considers himself worthy of "an analyst" on television, spreads this shit.
i remember at the 2010 world cup, dutch guest boskamp agreeing chiellini was a lumberjack not worthy of azurri jersey.
why ? because he isnt a ball playing defender. to make it more dramatic, during that time, manchester was showing concrete interest, and people who actually watch serie a agree he is quite a world class potential. people who wath euro 2008 agree he was the only defender stopping spain the right way.

so yeah, i dont like this. what so great about their boring football ? i like tactics, i like unexpected magic ala del piero. i like everything good about nedved. i like our ultras and the drama in the press.

hence, when de jong kicked the self proclaimed gods in football in the chest, it was worth it.

i think...i agree with you.
but de jong seems to be kicking footballers more than he kicks the ball..

Funny, Iniesta commited an off the ball foul and received no 2nd booking...he then scored the winner.

Seems there was favouritism for both sides...
Yeah, things evened out even though De Jong's foul was way worse.

Spain has plenty of tactics. Kicking their players on the chest isn't a way to negate those tactics or a tactic in itself.

Chiellini is clumsy but he is also a great defender and those who diss him wish he played for them

There is a diffrence in tactics and play patterns.

spain use a pretty fluid playstyle, and have alot of fixed play patterns, as with any quality passing side.

If they would come against a destroyer side like early 2000 france or 2000-2006 italy, they would get raped

Do you guys think Spain 2008-2010 is stronger than France 1998-2000?
Hell no. Italy 2006 with a full defense (Zambrotta-Nesta-Cannavaro-Grosso) would destroy Spain. Gigi at the time was in the form that made him best goalkeeper ever. And Italy 2006>France 98/00/06.
