since we have the non-eu spot and we need a proper LW, someone that can play the opposite game to Krasic - I think we should go for Hulk from Porto. Maybe not now, but in the winter. Porto are lacking players and without AVB they wouldn't make the same heroics as last year. They can't afford to spend the money they've received on the same quality players, because of the salaries issue -so they will start rebuilding with young talent. If they loose Perreira to chelsea as well - they would have a shitload of money, but a much weaker team. They haven't replaced Falcao and Perreira even if they have talented youngsters - they would need an year or more to get the experience. If we can get Hulk in the 25 mils range - I would prefer him than Elia+Vargas+Bastos all together.

i respectfully disagree. you must light up a crack pipe before watching juventus play week in week out.

its OBVIOUS mentality and confidence played a bigger part than anything else last season.


Don't ever compare Udinese's first 11 to ours...shame on you. Di Natale, Asamoah, Sanchez, Inler and Zapata are the only players capable of wearing a juve shirt...the other 6 wouldn't even make it on our bench.

Add Armero and also Isla who I totally forgot about to that list and whatever they've got going on at RB would be better than Juventus.

I am trying to be modest and realistic, cause there is a huge gap between AcMilan and the rest.

Yep it's pretty simple.
With CL football AND new stadium, things become so much easier.
We could pick up a LB free transfer (eg Taiwo), or a Rich club reject for cheap (eg Zlatan) or the next Afellay wants to come to Juve instead of Barca/EPL only. etc...
And now with a well-balanced, youngish 11... we can go back to the buy 2 champions per summer idea.

So potentially, you add Rossi, Balotelli and Nasri to the team and we'll be the one raping teams in Europe.
