I hope Pirlo hits the gym. He's practically been cruising for the last 5 years. If he does, he could easily give us 2-3 WC seasons.

Licht injury is the biggest nightmare.
4 wingers means we'll be relentless in attack.

Will be a shock if we're not top 3.

Our problems last season were:
1. Mentality
2. Quality
3. No LW and bad fullbacks

So if we get a good LW with good tactics and mentality our only opponents for CL spot would be Inter and Napoli

If we get a great LW and a great CB I can see us inferior only to Milan
If we get a great LW a great LB a great CB and a great SS I can see us challenging Milan for the scudetto

BTW I know you all know it already but Marotta seems to ignore the fact that 5 average players do not equal of 1 great one even if the price of all 5 together are equal to 1 great one

It was never really about mentality, it was about lack of high quality. Our scrubs can only do so much.
IMO. it was all about mentality.

When we played the big guns, we showed our quality, and in those matches we had the right mentality. We would have lost a lot less points against the small teams, if the mentality had been the same as when we played the big teams.

The Mercato is about to end in 4 days.
And we all know that all we CAN HOPE for getting,is new CB(Alves/Alex) instead of Bonucci, and another LW who will start.(Afellay/Malouda/ELia/Perroti/Vargas)
No WC LW,NO LB,NO OTHER SS...it won't happen.

Mentality plays a big part, that was evident all through the season, look around other teams.
Mentality still wouldn't have gotten us 4th. Udinese got 4th and they had Di Natale, Asamoah, Zapata, Inler, Armero and Sanchez all quality players and all performing really well. All of those players would be considered as our top players in last seasons Juventus. We had zero players that had so much quality as those guys Udinese had.

i respectfully disagree. you must light up a crack pipe before watching juventus play week in week out.

its OBVIOUS mentality and confidence played a bigger part than anything else last season.

Don't ever compare Udinese's first 11 to ours...shame on you. Di Natale, Asamoah, Sanchez, Inler and Zapata are the only players capable of wearing a juve shirt...the other 6 wouldn't even make it on our bench.

normally not but normally the only way motta would wair a juve shirt is when he is sitting at home in a fanshirt supporting the team as a fan.
