Isla is the type of player I'd want covering the entire right side of the pitch, instead of having someone in front of him. Don't want to stop him at what he well.
The only way I'd play Isla right back would be if you had a DM primed to spend a lot of time covering the space Isla would vacate when going forward.

Something along the lines of how Sevilla used Poulsen to cover for Alves.

Yup

I must note though that he seems pretty intelligent and last year I was impressed by his off the ball movement. I was impressed by Udinese's off the ball movement in general, but Armero was one of the best in this respect. He played really nice one-two passes and knew how to move and where to run. Combined with his speed it proved extremely useful for Udinese.
I prefer Isla from their fullbacks, though.
:agree:

Pity that our movement was dire

We should go for Goetze! Apparently he's not interested in Bayern.
It's not like that, BVB SD said that no way Gotze will join bayern in the future nor any team in Germany and that only 3/4 teams in the world can afford him.

Would kill to have him here tough. but He's definetely not moving this year.

I think that the players from Udine are getting a little bit overrated. They have some quality but not every one of their players should play for Juventus. (We did beat them 4-0 just last year if I remember correctly.) Rather their coach is good and having a player like Sanchez lifts everyone in the team. I expect them to finish in midtable this year, the usual for them.

I agree but Di Natale, Sanchez, Isla, Asamoah and Armero are all good players.

quinta had to leave practice earlier today becuaes of a pain in his thigh (or where ever I read) He will be evaluated within the next 48 hrs to see if he will be fit for the milan games.

Yeah, I feel as though we should just drop the money on him. We need a player like that. Maybe with FFP we can get him next year :xfinger:
