Pastore can live in Paris on huge wages. Sweet deal.
No doubt. But saying Pastore went to PSG because the quality of the football is better in Ligue 1 than it is in Serie A - something that Pastore denied in one of his first conferences as a PSG player - is quite a stretch.

I just really hope the FFP rules are implemented properly so teams cant spend hundreds of millions of euros on transfers + wages (and putting themselves in massive debt) and destroying and badly inflating the market. To think that two largely unproven players like Sanchez and Pastore went for 38 million and 43 million euros is quite insane.

You've forgotten Mickey Mouse cup.
CL and EPL are the only serious competitions. And there can't be 3 winners, especially from the same country. Barcelona and Real will beat each and every english team with the exception of Manchester United ( 1 out of 3 times, perhaps).
And yes, last year was a huge disappointment for Italy and its only normal considering we were represented by the famous European Warriors Inter, but over the last 10 years the story is quite different.
Footballers don't live in the last 10 years, they live in the now, and now, we aren't, and Italian football isn't as attractive as it was 10 years ago.
With the money involved in the EPL and the stadiums which are filled, with 5-6 teams fighting for the Cl spots, that league is just much more attractrive at the moment, if you can't, or won't accept that, so be it but be prepared to be dissapointed much much more the coming few years.

They aren't yet, my point was that, for which reason it may be, even the biggest talents in Italy are leaving the league for money, something we didn't see 10 years ago.

Until Serie A teams build new stadiums and find other lucrative revenue streams, we will always lag behind EPL and La Liga in attracting the big name talents.

The way I see it as of now, is Serie A is a "stepping stone" league. We're able to find and purchase young up and coming talents, and then inevitably sell them on to the rich douchebag clubs (Man Shitty, Barca, Real, Man United).

Big changes need to happen in order for Italian football to get back to its glory days.

No doubt. But that could all change if some rich Arabs/Russians invest in teams or teams build new stadiums. FFP could also stop these mega rich clubs from spending gargantuan amounts on players.

Also, the financial bubble might finally burst in the EPL as well.

I think Motta can live in Monaco on Juve's wages. Doesn't say much... If you are talking about going in Duplex and etc... well for the sake of football lets hope he doesn't do that. He is a talented kid and could be the next Ronaldinho...
Not the whole year.

I definitely agree, was just commenting on how the lifestyle choice would be pretty good for Javier. He went there because they have money, and no other Serie A club would be prepared to pay that for him.
