Yea, I know. I'm curious to know what kind of salary we'd need to pay a guy like Nani, whose coming from a club whose wage structure is very similar to ours.

Nani currently earns around 3 Mlillion at United. His wages would fit in nicely with our current setup.

Unless he's no longer wanted by United I can't see Nani coming to Juve. I see no reason for that though. He's been steadily improving the last couple of season and he's no longer the same footballer as before. His game matured, he has polished his skills and has adapted his game to both flangs well. I would say he is in his peak right now and is playing for one of the world's best football teams at the moment, I see no reason why would he want to leave. I doubt Sir Alex wants him to leave either.

Also he was an integral member of United's team last year, easily one of their best players. Just because he didnt start in the UCL final, doesnt mean Fergie doesnt rate him.

So no, until there is real and credible links between us and Nani and not this bullshit trundled out by Tuttosport, then his thread should remain locked IMO.

I think you guys getting a CB and a proper LW (not Vucinic) is a given.
Also, I wouldn't be surprised if you go for another mid - which would give you more tactical flexibility - if the price is right.

I wouldn't mind Aquilani for cheap at all, along with the defender and the LW.

We need smart defender. one who can see beyond what everybody can see, we need someone who can orginze the defence... Alex isn't him. He is very good IMO but I think we need someone else.

My wet dream was Nesta alongside Pirlo, but he just renewed with Milan. I'd rather have Lugano, Coates or even Bonucci to be honest.

P.S.: By the way, if we could get Lugano and Vargas (swaps) for free it'd allow us to spend on another kind of LW (creative one) and would also allow us to put Vargas as a defender or even change the system much more easier.
