Like many have said here, if we buy a CB then he should be someone who´s comfy with the ball. Long balls from our current CBs are doomed... It´s not just in defence but in general, our players cant keep the ball and slow the play down. Right now, theres only Marchisio and Pirlo who really can hold on to the ball. Dunno know about Vidal, havent seen him play too often?

i agree with this offcourse, because of a few obvious reasons
1)motta was pathetic and a serious hole in the defence. an unexpirienced sorensen out of position wasent much better tbh
2)grosso was another hole on the flank, really bad, and de ceglie back didnt fix much.
result : centrebacks constandly covering for fullbacks, creating gaps. chiellini with superior anticipation managed better then bonucci.
3) del neri unable to set up the defence and fix the crap. ranieri was king at it, and conte is known for it.
But, considering what we have now
4)Molinaro was the weak spot back then, ziegler is better. not much but he is.
5)Lichtsteiner is top 3 rightbacks in serie a, with a fantastic attitude, he is miles ahead of any defender we put there since thuram.
Conclusion : conte has better players for his backline then ranieri back then, and bonucci is entering his make or break year.

We need two wingers, its soo obvious that Conte doesn't want to see Pepe or Martinez playing in the wing when he decide to continue to play Marchisio there. And we are looking to offload either one them so we need two at least.
And in defense, based on the friendlies Conte doesn't seem to have decide that Bonucci will start next to Chiellini, therefore he will look at the options around. If he needs another defender he will get one.
