1.) You said he can't beat his man...the videos, the same damn ones you watched shows he can.
2.) You said he isn't aggressive...again, the same videos you saw as I show him take on 2 guys at once plenty of times and run at them...that's pretty damn aggressive if you ask anyone that either knows about soccer or actually kicked a fucking ball in their life.
3.) Unlike you, I don't need to watch youtube for 45 mins to know if a player can beat a man or not. I'd like you to show me the video and times where he made a mistake, then go look for a video of Messi and tell me if every pass he ever makes actually makes its destination.
4.) Play it safe...thank god you aren't a soccer coach. You remind me of the kid that would try and beat every man every time he gets the ball. There is nothing wrong with playing it smart when you have no where to go...
5.) Some of his goals came from long shots with both feet...and there again, is something you say he can't do.

I could go on and on but it would be like taking Hellen Keller to a movie...it wouldn't any difference because you are incapable of understanding this game. Maybe you should read the whole post. I read yours and it doesn't make me any less right and I'm not going to repeat myself again. Ziegler was better offensively than defensively. He was okay, caught out a bit defensively, nothing utterly stupid like another Swiss defender.

I read this whole post and came to the same conclusion as I did before reading only half of the nonsensical post you posted last. In conclusion, good debate...still, can't agree with a guy that uses youtube compilations to form his argument. Sorry mate, it would be like listening to Ahmadinejad about the Holocaust and believing him because "he said it was so".

It's hard to be objective in a debate when your opponent uses youtube as his founding argument. It's not even a full game, rather a 3 min highlight reel.

I wouldn't go as far as saying he is like them. Don't say that to Nenna because he will say Di Maria is aggressive because he takes on his man then run to youtube to see if he can confirm it.

He seems talented, and as Os said has some weaknesses but has some pretty good dribbling and pacey. He has enough qualities to become a good (not great) winger if in the right team and the right coach. Maybe someone here has seen more of him than I have can say more on him.

Personally, I like that he can cut in the way he does, those kinds of wingers are the most annoying to mark if you are a defender...and if he is actually a good winger then the more deadly he is.

Odd yes, but his silky passing skills were outstanding. I didn't follow his entire season, but from what I have seen, I think he is talented.

Its actually quite sad that I rate so many of our youth academy players while we sign players like Pazienza. I would've liked to give Ekdal or Rossi a chance.
