Is Elia good enough player for Juve? Even for this post-Calciopoli Juve?

Despite watching fairly enough BL matches I somehow didn't watch Hamburg and Elia enough to form an opinion. I know the Dutchmen here praise him (he's indeed a good dribbler for all I know) but others who follow the German league presented diametrically opposite opinion and seemed not to rate him at all.

Sometime in June Vidic's agent (who is apparently Buffon's agent too) said clearly what Vidic told him about the potential to move to Italy (Juve) :

" He's a player that everyone wants.I talked to him about a hypothetical transfer and he replied, "I am the captain of Manchester United, earning well, I've won almost everything... Why should I go to Italy right now, when Italian football is going through a turbulent period?"
This response removes any doubt about where his future lies - he stays where he is."

Honest to God you mofos, you hoping for Vidic now????

sticking with the russian connection why not either arshavin/zhirkov, would cost less and be hungrier than others
Arshavin in particular should be quite possible to get, with Gervinho signed and Mata coming. But thing is, I have hard time seeing him played LW in regular 4-4-2, ESPECIALLY in Italy of all countries. More of a free role left forward kinda guy. Though he fits Conte's characteristic for an LW. Fake one cutting in etc.

i'd stay clear from him, unfortunately dutch people like to hype their own countrymen :D

Vidic?! I mean come on guys, that's just... I'm sorry, but this is optimism or hopeful stuff, this is borderline retarded to think that there is even a chance in this universe that he would join us in this state. Seriously funny stuff
