Vidic?! I mean come on guys, that's just... I'm sorry, but this is not being optimist or some hopeful positive guy, but being borderline retarded to think that there is even a chance in this universe that he would join us in this state. Seriously funny stuff

Is Elia good enough player for Juve? Even for this post-Calciopoli Juve?

Despite watching fairly enough BL matches I somehow didn't watch Hamburg and Elia enough to form an opinion. I know the Dutchmen here praise him (he's indeed a good dribbler for all I know) but others who follow the German league presented diametrically opposite opinion and seemed not to rate him at all.
He's not any good.

sticking with the russian connection why not either arshavin/zhirkov, would cost less and be hungrier than others
Arshavin has been terrible for the last year or so and Zhirkov has spent most of his time at Chelsea injured.

Wouldn't go for either, personally.

He is fast and he has a good dribble.
Is he good enough for us? I don't know really.
Would I take him over Bastos/Vargas? Only if the price is lower, but for the same price, no.

As i have been saying in the past five years in this thread,
i only hoped that we would be stop buying new CMs and SSs, we are always stacked up in this position and always have to make compromises for the rest of our squad.
Recently Marotta has revealed that after we made those massive investments on Vidal and Vucinic, exactly the two kind of players we shouldnt have bought,
we now have to make some compromises and cannot spend as much in the market.
Right after this, our targets Vidic,Lugano, Bastos and Vargas start sleeping our grasp one by one, players that would significantly improve our team, because they would be replacing weakling and not decent players like Melo and Quaq.
Once again we have failed to learn from our mistakes, once again stupidity has triumphed...
