I think Conte doesn't rate Melo. There will be only 2 places to play for this year in the midfield and one of them belongs to Pirlo. So just one place for Marchisio, Vidal and Melo. Vidal is better then Melo 100% and it looks like Marchisio is already Conte's favourite. Also we will only play 40 games next season so a big bench is not necessary. Having him on the bench with a large salary is a waste of rescources and also we can get probably the most money for him then all the other players that are surplus to requirements.

What if Conte doesn't want to play with DM?

With a two man midfield with Pirlo...I think it would be most suitable to have a DM or an aggressive CM playing with Pirlo, if not the two wingers should track back and defend quite a bit. With the 4-2-4 a DM is needed IMO specially with Pirlo, unless we play a 4-3-3 then Melo or DM won't be necessary imo.

I think that player is out of Marrota's reach...if he doesn't know who Hazard or M'villa are, I don't think he'll be able to notice that guy. And besides he's not Italian
