4-4-2 is a pretty versatile and effective formation. We just don't have the right players for it, you don't only need great wingers who can also track back and defend but also such fullbacks. Not to mention the both solid and creative midfield.

That's ofcourse if you're planning on achieving something while playing with such a formation.
Exactly, unless you have the perfect team you'll be relegated to midtable.

really? i said this some months ago about selling marchisio for 15 mill, how so many objected to the idea. personally i think we're receiving more than he's actually worth
I'm not Marchisio biggest fan but i really like him , today market is to way overpriced specialy in EPL , L'pool paied 20 mln pounds for unproven guy (I saw him in U21 he was ordinary) , Carrol (40 mln E) , Zampa it's asking for 40 mln E for Pastore , Sanchez 40-45 mln E :sergio: .

In 4-3-3 Marchiso could do very very well , he failed becuase he was playing like Winger in 4-4-2 :sergio: i'm sure he could have done better in 4-3-3 like box-to-box MF .

And example fu*king Toro is asking for 20 mln E for that CB guy from Serie B , this is radicoulos .
And we have paied : Martinez(12),Pepe(10),Bonucci(15)

All of them are overpaied , or maybe just market changed .

If we really want to sell him we should get from him more than 20 mln E .

Marchisio fits much more Conte's system. Like it or not. Pirlo isn't an ordinary player? Right, but let's see if he's still a beast on the pitch to deserve a whole team playing to take the best out of him.

P.S.: I didn't choose the coach, but I respect the prefered tactic that every coach has. He should play that as long as it goes well and knows how to change if it starts to fail. Even if I don't like the 4-4-2.
