I think we should sell Pepe now while he's higher in value, we all know this is great year for him but it won't last. He's nothing more than a sub player and we have plenty of those.

As for Giovinco vs. Ramirez: Giovinco 19 apps: 9 goals, 5 assists. Ramirez: 18 apps 4 goals, 4 assists.

They're pretty close in stats, and considering that Giovinco is played closer to the net than Ramirez, its even closer if you ask me. However, I think Giovinco has more experience than Ramirez and should start initially. We'll see how Ramirez grows.

Realistically, we can aim for Ramirez, recall Gio, retain Pepe and Vucinic as our 4 RWF/LWF for the upcoming season; add Giac, and possibly Elia and we are set in that department. I don't think we will take up the 5 Million option on Esti, and we should get around 10-12 million for Krasic.

Higuain/Jovetic as our main striker, with Matri, and Quag as backups. If we happen to lose/include Quag in the deal for Jojo, I'd go with an upcoming talent up front as opposed to wasting 8 Million Euros on that douche Borriello.

The defense is ok, but we obviously need depth. Astori as backup is possible, whereas Hummels would be a dream, but I don't see us splashing over 15 Million Euros on someone for him to be a sub, or used in rotation with Chiello and Barza. A LB is a necessity only if Caceres and DC fail to impress there.

As things stand my realistic Mercato would comprise the following:

I want all of them too. Realistically though, we can get Jojo and possibly Lavezzi/Hamsik (not in the same Mercato though). Like I said, one top player each summer mercato from hereon in and we are CL contenders/champions by 2015.

It depends on who we get this summer, but say we signed Ramirez, re-called Giovinco, and Higuain and we keep our 4-3-3 going:

Starting forwards:

Ramirez/Gio - Higuain - Vucinic

Backups:

Pepe - Matri - Giovinco

Where would Quagliarella play? As a 3rd choice striker? I don't think he'd want that. We'll probably sign a 3rd string striker at the level of Boriello quality just in case of injuries. If we can get Boriello for about 5-7M I'd say do it.

The same thing applies to Krasic; if he is willing to go to Dortmund, and they are serious about acquiring him, offer them 18-20 Million Euros + Krasic for Gotze.
