Yeah, but no club can spend such amounts every single summer. I see your point, though. And when it comes to Jovetic, I think there's a possibility. The problem with Higuain is his wages, which is out of our budget.
We've done so for 3 mercato's straight, if we could do it in that financial slum surely we can repeat it this summer with the new stadium and CHL money. IIRC Higuain's wages are 3.8m , well within reach of our budget.

I love him too. I want him in Juve, badly. I don't give a damn what he said to Evra or how crazy he is.
i rate him pretty good, and i cant care less about what he said. (insults are insults, racism or not, grow a social shield, live with it)

I think he'd do very well here. i just wonder, what clubs are interested, and have we even scouted him so far ?

i try not to dream about players we dont bother looking as they wont come anyway

Sure. But let's say that Higuain requires wages of 6 million per season. He might want even more, but I think that's a realistic number in terms of what he wants. A 5-year contract will then cost us 30 million on top of the 30 + millions it would cost just to bring him to the club (potentially totally 60 + millions for one single player). That's something we will never do.

Jovetic, on the other hand, although expensive, will not demand such wages. I therefore see him as a possible target.

I was just kidding about it being simple. To get those two players in one transfer window (or at all) would be an incredible feat.

By the way, guys, I totally agree on Suarez. His personality may be shit, but who cares. Look at Zlatan, he's the world's biggest douchebag, but I don't hear a lot of milanisti complaining. Suarez is a top player and I'd be over the moon if we were to sign him.

its a realistic view, i try not to get excited

i however agree that if, we can get suarez for a reasonable price, we should immediatly do it.

also, i know you disagree, but the financial windfall rossi would give our "italian juve", would be massive

vucinic-rossi-suarez

would be financially very interesting, and at the same time pretty competitive

stop mentionning higuain, if real ditches him, epl catches. u know this after aguero and dzeko

One TOP quality player (and I'm not talking about Rossi; he's a 2'nd or 3'rd tier player, not top tier) every summer for the next 3 mercatos, and we are contenders in every competition for sure.
what makes you dont rate rossi

i'm not talking about beeing a jersey shore fag, but what he does on the field

he scored goals at any team he went, is technically good and physically fast. provides plenty of assist

AND, the commercial bonus.

The commercial bonus would be far superior if we got someone like Jovetic, Suarez, or Gotze. Not everyone that supports Juve is Italian, and he's not even the best Italian striker/forward out there. Cassano and Balotelli are far superior to Rossi, and I honestly don't see him as too great of an upgrade over someone like Quag, and I'm being objective here. He's better than all our attackers (which let's face it, isn't really hard to be) bar Vucinic, and I don't want him being our key/marquee signing. He just isn't that good. If we absolutely have to get him, anything over 15 Million Euros is a waste of money.

Furthermore, I'd rather get a young and exciting prospect, in addition to Suarez/Jovetic, and forget about Rossi altogether. Once we are in the CL, we can buy one star player for 2-3 summers, until we finally complete the squad.

 I give up. I know some of you are trolling, but those of you who actually think the purcahse of Rossi will result in more revenue than a Suarez or Jovetic are clearly delusional.

I'd buy a Jovetic or Suarez shirt. Rossi?! Fuck no! I don't want a good player (who isn't anything special) taking over/inheriting the number 10 jersey. Sadly, no Italian players out there are worthy of the number 10 at this point in time. I know we are an Italian club, and we must favor Italian players, but as it stands, the best forwards/strikers are no longer Italian. There isn't anyone in Italy right now of the Baggio/Del Piero mould. I'd give the number 10 to Benzema (another Frenchie after Le Roi Platini) but that isn't going to happen.

18 million fans in italy alone, and considering the newspapers last summer, they were very exited to see rossi return.

sure suarez and jovetic would have a boost, but not quite like rossi

gotze, unknown for most italians

rossi is worth 15,you are far to subjective

and, he's still pretty young

I said anything over 15 is a waste! Hence, I'd be willing to spend 15 Million Euros on him. We spent 15 Million Euros on Vuci, and Rossi isn't better.

Think of how many fans we will acquire outside of Italy with the purchases of Gotze and Jovetic. A huge boost to our image/profile on the continent, and possibly internationally, especially if both players perform. In 2-3 years, they'd generate more revenue than Rossi. I'm not looking at a single season, but in the long-term. Moreover, should the aforementioned duo do well, we can sell them for top dollar and replenish the squad, like we did with Zizou and Pippo.
