Footballing Hipster celebrating 4th place with Tuz

Why not?

Those guys all have better engines than Jovetic.

Jovetic, therefore, may be able to that defensive work, but unlike Robben, Ribery and Muller, his attacking play would suffer significantly due to the extra workload
The extra workload is just coming back a little deeper and holding your position on the wing a little closer to your own defense. You guys act like these attackers are coming back and winning balls all game.

And I really disagree about Jovetic. I think he can be all over the pitch. I've seen it with Montenegro. He can run the whole game.

The exact same reason that Vucinic and Quag when plays don't track back as much as a Pepe or a Giaccherini. Jovetic is an SS, It's like asking for DP to play on the wing and do defensive works.
Just because they share the same position doesn't mean they have the same athletic ability.

You are comparing Jovetic athletically to Del Piero. How does that make sense?

Del piero of old, Take any other example you want, I gave you too; Vucinic/Quag. It's like asking an Aguero/Rossi/Pato....To cover for a wing, Pepe gives us Balance, When Licht goes forward, you see a lot of time Pepe covering for him, Do yo see Jojo doing that ???

Having Chiellini as a LB also helps because it balances out Vucinic lack of support because Chiellini don't go forward as much as Licht.

And alread it's happening:

Ribery does less defensive work than Pepe and Jovetic probably does less than Ribery.

It's just that sort of continual pushing to keep allowing less workrate that ends up ruining the balance of a team - especially when that team is based on lots and lots of runing and plenty players willing to sacrifice themself for the good of the team.

If Conte asks Jojo to do that, he will do it. You guys act like these players are just what they are and nothing else. FFS, Mourinho had Eto'o playing LB. If you ask Jojo to cover once or twice A GAME, I think he can manage it.

And all covering for Licht means is to jog back to half lol. For all Pepe's industry, he has done very little in actually stopping counter-attacks or dangerous opportunities.

Tell me you guys are really scared to play 90% of our games with Jojo instead of Pepe on the right. I can see if we make CL and have to face some tough teams, but every game in Italy, Jojo can play there.

I can't see the fascination of playing Jojo on the right wing. Better to get someone who's truly a right winger and we are better off, and I'm one of Jojo's biggest fans.

Yes but it's also about being actually capable of defending rather than trying to.
I see Jovetic as a great addition to any team. Defensively? not so much.

Like I said. Replace Mirko with Hazard and keep Pepe.
If only it was as easy as you said
The only way to get Hazard is if Real pass on him and then we still probably lose on him to Man City Chelsea or Barcelona
The same goes for Neymar

We need to work fast effective and silent if there is any chance of getting Hazard

BTW I would really like us to sign Ribery if his cost isnt sky high (and if he wants to come here)
I think he`d be perfect for the 4-3-3 formation

The perfect buy would be Di Maria. He'd kill down the right flank but it looks like he's been pretty important for Real this year. I doubt they'll get rid of him.

Vucinic/Pepe - Matri - Jovetic would be a dream, can't understand how people think we'd fall out defensively. You shouldn't forget we have two hardworkers and one holding player in the mid, when most top teams have just one natural defensive midfielder and, in some cases, one hardworker too. From that offensive trio, the only one I could moan about defensively is Vucinic, because any of the other can work perfectly in our deffensive phase (yes, even Matri, you can notice that this season). And don't say Jojo couldn't help more than Robben or Muller defensively ffs, that's not even close from a true statement.

Jovetic would be just too good to be true. It's not just that he's great deffensively for an attacker, but he's also the magic provider and regular game changer we still need upfront. You know, the reason we keep struglling against the Cesenas of calcio. We have poor decision makers upfront and the lack of a mind there is the reason we shot and play so much without purpose in front of the goal (against the small sides). Pirlo is the only one who can provide purpose to our game in a regular basis, but he's too deep on the pitch. The other player who can do that is Vucinic, but he has like a genius build up from month to month.

And by the way, "Pepe covers for Licht" is the myth of the season. He just cuts inside and allows Licht to overlap him, but you can often watch that Barza is the one who covers the lack of Licht on the flank (and ideally, Pirlo would cover Barza but he doesn't and we have a weak point right there). At most, it would be Vidal the one covering Licht, and Pepe taking Vidal's place until Licht could recover his position.
