Pedro by no means is a striker, he's a winger and he does alot of tracking back when he plays. Thinking of it, Pedro would be perfect for this Juve and it seems that he fallen out in the picking list of Guardiola, now he's like 3rd choice behind Sanchez and that new guy Cuenca.
Thank you, Same thing i tried to say for Jovetic, No team plays with 3 attackers upfront, not Barca, not RM... If we want to replace Pepe, we should look for a true winger.
I don't believe that. David Villa, Messi, Pedro/Sanchez, they all play as attackers. If we were to fix our back line and make it solid, by removing Bonucci and signing someone like Hummels and having a back line consisting of Chiellini - Hummels - Barzagli - Lichtsteiner I think we can play with 3 out and out attackers.
Vucinic also tries to track back from time to time. I think it could work against small teams, but not against good teams and especially in Europe :xfinger: That would leave Vidal and Marchi to cover both wings and the MF, that's a lot of work even if they are both excellent.
Jovetic plays his best as a SS and i think he can play as LW in 3 man attacks, but i just don't see Conte playing both him and Vucinic at the same time, that's will be sucidal againt good teams .
It is not impossible to play with 3 attackers, especially when one is Jovetic who runs alot. Bayern plays with Ribery, Robben, Gomez, Muller sometimes FFS.

No not a striker.but he is a player made to play the 4-3-3.I can't really imagine him play in a 4-4-2 or any other system for that matter.
unless it's a 4-5-1 which is a defensive 4-3-3.
Even without the help of pepe in defense i'm sure a team can cope with 8 of their players behind the ball. Especially when it's not bonucci and co. but some guys like Hummels or some other defenders you highly rate.
Marchisio or Vidal could go forward and help but would still track back.

Jovetic, therefore, may be able to that defensive work, but unlike Robben, Ribery and Muller, his attacking play would suffer significantly due to the extra workload
