I like Cahill better than Rhodolfo who looks really shaky under pressure from what I've seen of him this season so far. Hummels I think if we won the league or at least made CL we will look like a nice option for players in the coming markets but Hummels means money. So worth it though.

How much potential does Hummels have? Don't think I've seen him play more than once or twice and wouldn't have paid attention to him when I did.

He has the potential to be the best defender in the world and is already one of the best in Bundesliga at 22 years of age.

Is he not out of contract next summer?

I think that was why no-one bought him this summer, as Bolton wanted about £15m for a player who'll be going for free in the summer.

However, Bosman deals mean a bidding war on wages, so I can't see Juve getting him.

He'll end up at Liverpool or Spurs, I would guess.

After a brief search it appears his contract is expiring. I don't necessarily think he'd choose to move away from the Premier League even if we matched any offers.

Honestly I don't think his price will be that high if Clichy keeps on being the nr. 1 LB. Kolarov has had minimum playing time, and that only decreases his value. 12m and he's ours.
