Ben Arfa is good, but he can't play as deep as Pirlo does. He's is good with the ball and, when it's necessary, he can play in the wings. But, he is prone to injuries and, as I said before, he can't replace Pirlo.

Juan Arango
Mario Gotze
Eden Hazard
Oliver Giroud
Luuk De Jong
Bas Dost
Armero-defensive wise (I didnt watch many Udinese games. From the ones I did watch I was impressed by his offensive aspect. Didnt notice anything about his defending aspect)

Arango: Are we talking about the same player? If we are, you can't be serious. = Average
Götze: People here love him, I think he is a bit overrated. Could be huge though. = Great
Hazard: My first pick of all players probably. Frigging awesome player. = WC
Giroud: No idea really. Sounds meh. = Average
De Jong: Hmm...could become a very valuable player, haven't followed enough. = Good
Dost: Have no idea really. Ask Ken or Janna.

I think you're underrating those guys a bit...maybe individually but not altogether.

Honestly I'd just take the cheaper option out of Ogbonna/Astori, I don't think Ogbonna will be anything great. If we get a starting LB (which we really should) that 4th CB will hardly play behind Chiellini, Barza and Bonbon. For LB I think Kolarov would be good especially as he is a very attacking player which would suit the 3-5-2 with 3 defending CBs very well.

I wouldn't sell Matri or Quag tbh and I wouldn't buy Borriello. For RW I'd like Suarez/Ramirez/etc & Pepe, CF: Cavani/RVP/Higuain/etc + Quag & Matri and LW: Vucinic & Giacch.

Also about Del Piero.

I really don't rate any of our forwards, bar Vucinic. He's the only one, along with Del Piero of course, who is capable of making things happen. If an offer of 18-20 Million Euros came in for I'd sell him without hesitation. An offer of 12-15 Million Euros, and I'd have no problems in letting Quag go as well. As for Borriello, I'd rather not buy him, but it seems Conte rates him for some reason.

Gio could b very useful, and he's a much better and complete player than Giac will ever be, at least in the attacking department. I'm sure Conte can get him to accept the bench and STFU (as he will eventually get his chances in a long season); the problem before was that we never had a strong coach with a winning mentality (Del Neri, Ranieri, Zac, and even Ferrara were losers).

There is talk of Francesco Lodi to back up Pirlo. I've liked Lodi since his Italy youth days, but he's 28 now and only just fulfilling his potential. Better to let our kids develop, than waste someone of that age on the bench, just turns into another Pazienza.

Dost has scored a fuck ton of goals in the Dutch league. 32 this season.

Giroud is a good player. He may require a certain system to get the best out of him but he is good.

Arango is a tricky, skillful player, probably the same level as Farfan.

They wouldn't be half as good here. There's a reason why Di Natale chose to stay with Udinese a couple of years ago and why Di Vaio and Miccoli couldn't make it here. They're all big fish small pond players. except Gio is microscopic fish small pond.

Never seen Dost play but performing in eredivisie doesn't really say that much. So I'm more curious about how other would evaluate his potential rather than hearing about facts since they don't really tell anything.
Arango is interesting, no doubt! But where would he play in our system? Sub to Vucinic?
