I really think we need to invest heavily in our attack. Borriello, Quags, and Matri are just not going to cut it. That strike force is befitting of a team like Cagliari, or Genoa, not Juventus FFS. We desperately need a RWF as well. The CL is a whole different ball game, and if we don't wish to humiliate/embarrass ourselves, we need to invest heavily. Our midfield, and to a lesser extent our defense, are competitive, and with a few minor adjustments will be good to go.

Players like Pepe, Giac, Matri, Quag, and Borriello seem out of their depth when it comes to the CL (remember, we had no European commitments this season, and Serie A as a whole has seen a drastic reduction in the level of quality, both in terms of personnel and level of play); the only player in our attack who seems competent on the European stage is Vucinic. Hence, we need a quality RWF, and a top notch striker to compete continentally, and be able to deploy both formations (4-3-3, and 3-5-2) efficiently and effectively.

Ideally, I'd bring back Gio, acquire Ramirez, and Cavani/Higuain. If we get Dzeko or Damiao, I think a higher quality RWF is essential; someone like Suarez comes to mind. However, if Gio must be sacrificed for funds, then so be it. It seems that Verrati and Pogba are ours, so I don't really see the need for Nainggolan. In any case, I'd prefer Asamoah over him. For the defence, Ogbonha is the superior defender, but it seems Astori is the more realistic option. We should avoid Bochetti; I don't really rate him at all. DC, and Chiellini filling in at LB if need be, seems sufficient for now.

Add Destro for depth, youth, and quality in attack, and we are set.

Regarding sales, we should dispose of Elia, Krasic, Pazienza, Padoin (if we get a good enough offer), Esti, Melo, Ziegler, one of Matri and Quag, and send Borriello back. I know Del Piero seems on his way out, but I firmly believe his experience will prove invaluable, particularly in Europe. Giggs and Scholes are still playing; I don't see why Del Piero can't continue at the highest levels for another year or two, especially in a limited role/capacity.

Juventus prepared to offer 12 mil plus the other half of Albin Ekdal for Cagliari's Nainggolan, according to La Nuova Sardegna
:scared:
What happened to Asamoah?! He's much much better withe same price!

Edit: @B81

PDC and Chiello isn't enough to cover LB\LW, we need more depth in that area. We shouldn't spend too much there, but it still needs to be reinforced. Other than that I agree with everything you said :D

Could you tell me how good are the following players?
I didnt watch most of them while I havent decided on some
Rate them as average good great wc
The players are:
Juan Arango
Mario Gotze
Eden Hazard
Oliver Giroud
Luuk De Jong
Bas Dost
Armero-defensive wise (I didnt watch many Udinese games. From the ones I did watch I was impressed by his offensive aspect. Didnt notice anything about his defending aspect)

Juan Arango Don't know
Mario Gotze Awesome
Eden Hazard Amazing
Oliver Giroud Meh; I feel he will struggle at a big team. Seems suited for mid table teams.
Luuk De Jong Lots of promise; raw and talented. Could be huge, but has a long way to go.
Bas Dost Who??!!!
Armero-defensive wise Very useful in a 3-5-2, but probably not a player you'd go for if you are planning on playing a back 4 (I didnt watch many Udinese games. From the ones I did watch I was impressed by his offensive aspect. Didnt notice anything about his defending aspect)
I hope this helps :D

Nainggolan stood out for Cagliari again when we played them. But he seems quite indifferent to moving to us, which doesn't attract me.

I never watch the EPL anymore, other than the Manchester derbies or the recent FA cup match so I don't know how good Ben Arfa is? Is he good? Could he backup Pirlo?

Ben Arfa is good, but he can't play as deep as Pirlo does. He's is good with the ball and, when it's necessary, he can play in the wings. But, he is prone to injuries and, as I said before, he can't replace Pirlo.

I think you're underrating those guys a bit...maybe individually but not altogether.

Gio :inter:

Honestly I'd just take the cheaper option out of Ogbonna/Astori, I don't think Ogbonna will be anything great. If we get a starting LB (which we really should) that 4th CB will hardly play behind Chiellini, Barza and Bonbon. For LB I think Kolarov would be good especially as he is a very attacking player which would suit the 3-5-2 with 3 defending CBs very well.

I wouldn't sell Matri or Quag tbh and I wouldn't buy Borriello. For RW I'd like Suarez/Ramirez/etc & Pepe, CF: Cavani/RVP/Higuain/etc + Quag & Matri and LW: Vucinic & Giacch.

Also :agree: about Del Piero.

That'd be a waste. Astori is a good backup option; we should just pay them in cash. We should use youngsters, player's halves, and engage in co-ownership deals for big talents, not bench warmers.

He doesn't need to replace Pirlo, we're getting Verratti for that ;)
