Dybala is a forward, not an attacking midfielder
Ramsey is a b2b midfielder and always injured
Costa is always injured
Berna is SPAL level
1.How many games have Ramsey played as b2b?
2. when Costa is available and 100 fit he is undisputed starter.
3. berna may be spal level for some reason he has started many games.
There is a huge difference between what one wants and what can really be achieved. We have a stubborn coach. We play either 4-3-3 or 4-3-1-2. In all our games this season two of Dybala/Ronaldo/Higuain have always started.
Same goes for Pjanic, Bentancur, Matuidi (who played most minutes)
Then you have one position RW or trequartista who 3-4 (Costa, Ramsey, Berna) players on very high wages fight for one spot. On top of that you want to buy another player to fight for the very same spot.

Everyone needs to friggin relax.

We have an inbound Kulu coming for 45m (not to worry because its "spread out over 4 years"). We have the 2nd coming of Nintendo who will fully develop into a WC youngster by the start of next season.

Dontcha know we are revolutionizing our youth setup?

Personally, I can't wait to unleash Cotter to terrorize Seria A defenses by the year 2023 at the earliest.

Eriksen you ask? That would ruin EVERYTHING we are working for.

What I'm saying is...we need to keep Sami alive long enough to guide our midfield until our youth are developed. :baus:
36+9 not very easy to achieve bonus spread over 5 years with a lowish salary, if it makes you feel any better his annual cost to us (amortization value+gross salary) is less than Rabiot, Ramsey and Can

12 assists last year. He wants out bc Vertonghen fucked his wife so this year has been terrible for the team and for him. Hes a top players. Top in assists the last 5 years I believe and last year he did have a good year. I would be surprised if Inter get him but I do agree Inter are more desperate so they will pay more to make a push back to the top and this is the best option thy could have in a long time. Dont act like Eriksen isnt a baller though because he absolutely is. Is he a speed winger that breaks down defenses? NO and maybe we want someone more dynamic. Maybe we just would rather wait until the summer and get him for free
confirmed?

We won't get him.

I'm so triggered right now. Trying to hold it together.

Freebies has been our bread and butter for years. wtf.
why are you so convinced we wont get him?

Wow. What will you do if you're in Australia and see a fire tornado coming your way?

Eriksen moving in Jan makes no sense from his or our perspective.

And him choosing inter just sounds funny right now.

worrying is a harsh word probably, let's say it might be something to think about. so he said kulusevski was sold because it's hard to get any playtime over the current players at atalanta. it's a rare kind of remark from a coach, they are usually much more diplomatic than this, especially when it comes to a young player just sold for a record fee. i never saw a coach saying "the money was too good, we won't miss him anyway". again, i might be wrong, but that's what i read between the lines. :boh: also, while ilicic and gomez are certainly considered as two of the best attacking players in the league, both are like 31-32 and are regularly rested for league games.
Lmao

What's all this in last pages...

This summer we should aim for Pogba behind Dybala and Ronaldo. Give him the role of Nedved in that best year with us. He would do even better then Nedved.

I'm sure he wants out. ManU is average club today, just like Milan.

I dont know if you are serious but I doubt Pogba would do even better than Nedved consering Nedved has won the golden ball..
I would be very happy to see Pogba coming here though..

Who cares about golden balls. Win us the CL, that's what matters.

Well what are we gonna do all these players on high wages? No can team afford to have Costa, Ramsey, Berna and Dybala on bench.

I do agree on the quantity. Main question is can we sell Costa, and Berna?
This. Strange ideas going on lately that we can sign Eriksen and/or Pogba and put them on 10-15mil wages and have a bench full of 6mil plus wage earners.

Mediocre high wage players like Can and Rabiot will be hard to sell. Always injured high-wage earners like Ramsey and Costa will be hard to sell for decent amounts that would let us replace them with similar quality, only less injury prone. And old, high wage players like Khedira and Matuidi are close to impossible to sell.

People talk about our midfield like it needs a total over haul. Ok it's not great, actually I think it's more of a matter of finding the right balance and understanding the individual roles within this system.

Pjanic is key
Bentancur has been one of the revelations of the season and is increasingly important
Rabiot - I think has a role to play but is finding his feet still

The more this season goes on the more I think this will soon be our starting trio

Matuidi and Can brings more of a physical presence

Khedira - not even worth mentioning

I suppose you can count on Ramsey who needs continuity but he has quality

In reality we only really need a midfielder or two to complete it and have quality in depth

As for Eriksen, one of the main issues I think we will have with him is that since he is perfect for that role behind the forwards we are effectively limiting ourselves to just the 4-3-1-2 formation. With Kulusevski he brings tactical flexibility as he is able to play out wide, thus keeping ourselves open to a 4-3-3.

We know Sarri won't play any other formation than these 2.

Speaking of which I'm struggling to place where Eriksen would fit in this inter team
Eriksen can and has played as more of a Mezzala in a midfield 3. He’s not fixed in as a CAM/treq. He’s got decent work rate.

i think its hard to know where we stand with wages. Every year we seem to be able to pay out amounts that didn't look possible just a short time ago. Ronaldo, De Ligt, Golzalo etc

We don't know anything for sure, but it was reported that at least 5m bonus is related to Champions League and Ballon d'or, if correct it's a good bonus structure

Wages are definitely going up. But people seem to think we just add another 25-30 mil between Pogba and Eriksen, no sweat. Soon we’ll pass both Madrid and Barca in wage bill too if that’s the case. The way we can afford such players if by stocking the bench with young, high potential players on lowish wages. Not having a bench full of 28+ year olds on 6+ mil/year net.

Tici is expert on getting himself in such position without proper planning. He almost got us Lukaku without selling Higuain and Mandzukic. Then he wanted to sell Dybala (thanks to his image rights he wasnt sold). After failing to do so Mandzukic goes for free. Getting Eriksen in January without offloading some players first will complicate things more than solve anything. People think Eriksen would walk into our midfield. And everybody was surprised when Khedira and Matuidi started our first four games.

Do you?

Here's a novel thought:

Hope we'll end up paying the bonuses bc that means he'll have done very well.

Other than that, if you're gonna randomly moan about this transfer bc you need something to complain about, makes more sense to use the 35m figure.

A couple of months ago Tuz experds, who know every player and are right about every player (sarcasm), were bemoaning that inter was signing him and how we were missing out on him.

Now they're moaning about us signing him.

You cant win with Tuz ruminants.

All I know is our midfield is ass - definitely one of the worst, possibly the worst amongst all the big clubs, both in Italy and Europe. We have a bunch of overpaid, underperforming, injury prone, talentless overrated players in the middle, and we all know who we can thank for that.

You can also thank him for Ronaldo and de Ligt.

Money doesn't grow on trees, neither do we have unlimited dirty money Sheikh funds thankfully.

What's this obsession with eriksen?
I saw him being outmuscled by Sterling a couple a months ago. Maybe he didn't care back then but I still found it to be very laughable.
Now seria A is very physical so that half harted attitude ain't gonna get you far.
Having said that I wouldn't mind him for free ,but never on 11 12 mil. salary.
