Problem is our stop gap midfield fixes have a habit of becoming mainstays for years and we end up chasing more cheap shitty replacements.

It's a never-ending cycle
Nah. What mid-season, January signing became a mainstay? None that I can think of.

We’re in this dire midfield situation because of summer signings.

Maybe we should spring for a big signing in January if anyone good becomes available. Certainly would be the year to do it, with no one looking all that dominant in CL.

But who am I kidding. We’ll get some mediocre rubbish on loan and call it good.

Tonali and some quality midfield enforcer. Liverpool have Keita and Fabinho - I truly envy them. I wish we could get some muscle and hustle with guile and class in midfield. Tonali, Bentancur, Pjanic, Pogba, and Matuidi sounds appetizing.

Sell Can and Rabiot?

Keita’s not really an enforcer

Oh, I know. I was just mentioning how envious I am that Liverpool can call on the services of that duo. I guess the phrasing made it seem I was implying he was an enforcer. I want a Prime Vidal type player in Juve's midfield, but I understand that's highly improbable. Nonetheless, I don't want mediocre freebies, undesirables, geezers, and players who collapse at the first sign of contact. I guess some sort of compromise would be nice.

While selling all the players who are too young or inexperienced. We need those experienced geezers with huge contracts that we will struggle to offload later. That's a winning formula right there.

Terrible whenever i watch him play for the lolzilian NT @CrimsonianKing

If he's free, he's as good as ours though.
He’s below average for the NT but I thought he was decent at club level football. But again what’s the point in getting old fuckers for free if they ain’t getting any playing time. Yay more bench players.

Why not go after starting team world class players for once? About time we do that.
