Bentancur looks much better than Can IMO, even defensively.

In a perfect case scenario, the club gets rid of both Khedira and Can.

I meant we may have the funds to make a decent Jan signing (& I count Rakitic signing as decent at this juncture) but don't think we will.

I'm torn when it comes to Rakitic. I like him because he'd do well under Sarri but giving him a long contract sounds like a bad idea.

The club needs to dig themselves out of this vicious cycle of signing old mids just to hotfix the problem that we've had for a couple of years now.

I agree width is good, but I missing seeing technique, control and some ingenuity in midfield.
