I don’t understand why you are so convinced by Pogba yet so unsure of Eriksen. Eriksen has outperformed Pogba by every conceivable metric since Pogba came back to the Premier League in 2016. Eriksen will also (probably) cost less money and demand less wages.

9 times out of 10 when Manure play against a good team with a good midfield, Pogba is marked out of the game. You can’t blame that entirely on Mourinho.
2015 Pogba was simply amazing for us
Now he supposed to be a more complete player and he showed his maturity for France - This makes me think he will definitely succeed here + he has things we really need in his skills set...
He is strong physically which means more strength to our midfield
He is quite fast (not Ronaldo fast but he is fast enough)
He is a really good dribbler
He has shown numerous times that he has a great vision
The only downside is that sometimes he insists on making the tough things instead of just making it simple but since we are much better than Man Utd and we have Allegri - I`m sure it can be controlled to the minimum..

Eriksen is a different player
He isnt that strong physically
He works different than Pogba as Pogba works on his skills and great talent while Eriksen is more about using the brain (by this he reminds me of Pjanic)
To say Eriksen isnt a top player is ridiculous but I think Pogba is more of what we currently need.

I wont be disappointed if we get Eriksen although if we do it would probably be instead of Pjanic and then I see no real progress as I dont think Eriksen is better than Pjanic..

In light of shit season and the fans making racist banners at him, would you guys take Savic for 50mil in January if he were able to force his way out for cheap?

For 50m I’d take him in a heartbeat. I never thought he was worth the ridiculous prices thrown around in the summer, but 50m would be a great deal

Eriksen is now being regularly linked with Real and Barca though and if he does not get an improved contract with Tottenham then I would imagine he will end up in Spain.
:fab:Will make the Spanish giants his bitch.

It appears that Pogba is likely to be a much more attainable goal than Eriksen.

Pogs has not started the last 2 matches following Mourinho’s “virus’ allegation last week. It seems as if there Is probably agreement between the Man Utd board and Mourinho that he should be sold. If so it is just the matter of the transfer fee. What’s the realistic fee that we should agree?

Eriksen is closest to perfect Modric/Iniesta replacement. Barca already has Coutinho (and Arthur), so don't see them going for Eriksen or Pogba. Real spending 9 figures on Eriksen is very much possible.

Like I said before, Pogba to Juve in Jan isn't impossible even if unlikely. For it to happen, Utd has to agree to a loan with obligation deal, and Pogba of course has to agree to a big cut in salary (between now and summer, I think that's the biggest sticking point, not transfer fee).
