A real possibility for what?

For half of the rumors, it's easy to tell they're baseless and products of yellow journalism. James one that gets copied and passed around in a circle is one of them.

He can't play CM for an Italian team and neither is he good enough to fap over.
You want James to play CM? I guess he could do it but why play him there when he is much better at a more offensive position...
Possibility?! Yes! Bayern are not that keen on him so yeah I`d say he is a realistic target...

Anyway lets focus on what we need which is CM
Pogba is the way to go
As for free transfers - Im not that sure about Rabiot as he is definitely a great player but he also really lacks discipline...
Does Lazio still rate SMS at 120M?

We need a guy who can make the connection between our mids to our forwards. Something Dybala got trouble doing atm because he's not a trequartista.

It's tiring to see Dybala doing that job because of our midfield's limitation. Do you think Lotito might sell SMS on a discount? His feud was with Beppe as well, now it's fabio which he will be dealing with

could Pogba do that. He prefers a more advanced role. My ideal guy would be Isco or Eriksen.

We need a playmaker to compete with Pjanic because if he's injured, we fucked. Having a Vidal type of midfielder could be very useful as well

Then a more advanced role, a la Eriksen

What are you on about? I just said in the very post you quoted "he can't play CM for an Italian team."

In what offensive position? Where do you see vacancy?

Maybe.. Im still unsure about him..
I don’t understand why you are so convinced by Pogba yet so unsure of Eriksen. Eriksen has outperformed Pogba by every conceivable metric since Pogba came back to the Premier League in 2016. Eriksen will also (probably) cost less money and demand less wages.

9 times out of 10 when Manure play against a good team with a good midfield, Pogba is marked out of the game. You can’t blame that entirely on Mourinho.

It appears that Pogba is likely to be a much more attainable goal than Eriksen.

Pogs has not started the last 2 matches following Mourinho’s “virus’ allegation last week. It seems as if there Is probably agreement between the Man Utd board and Mourinho that he should be sold. If so it is just the matter of the transfer fee. What’s the realistic fee that we should agree?

Eriksen is now being regularly linked with Real and Barca though and if he does not get an improved contract with Tottenham then I would imagine he will end up in Spain.

Are there other suitors for Pogba? I feel we're financially stressed after the summer and since we've been paying heavy heavy wages, pulling out max. 100mil + heavy wages is gonna be damn tricky without a loan+obligation kind of deal. Wouldn't be surprised if Manchester try and negotiate for someone like Dybala or Sandro in exchange, but we'd have the upper hand here.

I'd really Vidal back. He's definitely available with his minutes at Barca and I'm sure he'd like to return since the fans adored him. Just imagine a Pogba+Pjanic+Vidal/Matuidi midfield; almost an exact replica of that "vintage" 2013-2015 that was the best in the world.
