In the market today teams spend 50m on Fred, 50m on Jorginho, and 60m on Keita. Arthur cost 30m and he was completely unproven in Europe. You won't get a good midfielder for anything less than 50m.

SMS will cost over 100m. Pogba will cost at least 150m.

Told you guys that Torreira for 25m was a steal.

People who don’t want a Barella because he’s “not good enough” for Juve are missing the point.
People who do want Barella despite him being not good enough are missing the point..
Barella wouldnt get minutes here and now we need a much better quality...
You want someone different then name one who is good enough..

Barella is good enough though by current our standards. Right now, he is better than this version of Khedira and Bentancur. Barella is also better with the ball at his feet than Matuidi, and better going forward than Can.

Right now, we do not have a single midfielder with dribbling ability. This is going to hurt us in those high intensity games in the latter stages of the CL.

oh OK, so you just assume hes a inter fan. just say so next time
He's literally quoted in the article saying "I like Inter." Fans in two different forums interpreted as such, the writer interpreted as such, only you're the anomaly.

again with you imaginary scenarios. Matri, Ekdal, del Fabro, Isla, Caligara, Tello, Romagna, Cerri 2x and some others i probably missed, this is just the list of players that we dealt among each other during this managements reign alone, so last 7-8 years. there is obviously a good relationship between 2 clubs, and finding a deal that suits both parties shouldnt be a problem.
You're right, just because we had done deals with them like with other Serie A clubs, they'll bend over backwards and loan Barella to us when EPL clubs are ready to pay NOW. Not only that, they're also ready to sacrifice their season and risk relegation by selling their best player mid-season, and both the club and the player will change their mind about not leaving in Jan despite saying so numerous times, despite a bidding war & Barella getting to show quality being in their best interest. And even if the club doesn't want to sell, Barella will emerge as Spinazzola like Juventino and really push for a move out of nowhere mid-season despite having a bond with Cagliari, despite declaring he wants to join EPL.

Fuck does that sound dumb. You owe me 1000 more brain cells.

assuming no one leaves (or whoever leaves, we replace him one for one), just adding Barella would be good enough for me. Pjanic, Khedira, Matuidi, Can, Bentancur, Barella is enough depth
:howler: smh

Raid Atletico. Koke or Saul please.
Neither will leave Atletico. Koke has a contract until 2024 and Saul until 2026. Neither have expressed any interest in leaving.

Pablo Fornals had as many assists as Messi in La Liga last season, playing for Villarreal. Now there’s a talented young midfielder who is obtainable if we are willing to pay up.

“I have always supported Cagliari, but my family are all Inter fans, so as a kid when Inter would win, I’d be happy.
the actual quote which pavle, from his own stupid article mind you all, and thanks to his wonderful imagination, missreads as "i like inter". applause.gif

Allan signed for Napoli in the summer of 2015, the same window we lost Vidal. We signed Khedira to replace him instead. :sergio:

At the time Allan played for Udinese and was still unproven at the highest level, but Napoli took the risk and it paid off.

There is no real excuse for our midfield being as weak as it is. There have been plenty of talented midfielders playing in fodder Serie A teams (Allan, Torreira) which we easily could have signed but decided not to, because we’d rather give Khedira a contract extension and a raise.

What's so special about Allan? He doesn't score nor he assists. He has decent stamina, can tackle and play short passes. Really impressive.

Last season Allan was involved in 9 goals (4G and 5A). Those are decent numbers for a box to box midfielder who is more defensively minded.

You are acting as if those aren’t very useful traits to have.

We already have Ronaldo and Dybala, we don’t need another goalscorer. We need a player who can dominate the midfield, win back the ball and retain possession.
