But replacing Gigi? That's going to be tough. Not just because of his amazing performances on the field, but his charisma, leadership and general awesomeness...its next to impossible to find another one like him.

i think we are in a pretty good shape to replace him. we've got a few kulturträgers (culture bearers) in Bonucci, Chiellini, Marchisio and a couple of younger guys who could become culture bearers within a decent tiem frame.
But.. if we don't - under the assumption Buffon would like to - sign him to a role close to the team, when he retires. Whelp! The worst thing would to see a personality like his becoming a pundit. That would be a waste of talent.

Quite confident he'll sign a new contract when he turns 18 in 5 months. Most likely with an anti juve-clause in it, which means he'll be heading for Spain or Englando, when he gets fed up with Milans mediocrity.
