Gazzetta are also reporting that Fassone is seriously thinking of hiring Mirabelli as the new sporting director.
Gazzetta add that Mirabelli could be more of a sporting director scout. He suggested Perisic and Murillo to Inter.

    But replacing Gigi? That's going to be tough. Not just because of his amazing performances on the field, but his charisma, leadership and general awesomeness...its next to impossible to find another one like him.

    Still hope we make a bid for Gigi Donnarumma. If Milan are still garbage (even with their new Chinese owners) we stand a decent chance IMO.

    I thought we already had one of the most promising young keepers in the world lined up to replace Gigi? Has he not progressed?

    We already have replaced Evra and Barza.

    Sandro has effectively replaced Evra. Benatia almost exclusively played as a CB on the right side for Roma, so he's a perfect Barzagli replacement. Add in Rugani as extra cover there.

    At RB/RWB, we're linked to both Darmian and De Sciglio constantly... plus we have Lirola hopefully coming out of the youth ranks.

    The only player of those 4 I'm worried about replacing is Gigi. But I'm betting he has 3 years in him (including this one). I doubt he retires from club football at the same time as International football. Especially if we don't win CL this year or next.
