He is a top player. Not sure where the criticism of Alves stems from because he has really improved our team going forward on the right. Once we get fully going he will prove even more valuable with his passing and technique.

alves started the season really well because he was put in the rwb role from the start. tbh he's defensive side is really poor and hence, when we moved to a back 4 in a few recent games, he looked poor.

in spain defenders dont really defend.

He might not want to sign with them. Look at what happened with Mohamed Salah. He did not want to sign with Fiorentina, so he didn't, despite the buy option. It just means the fee is negotiated with the team. If Coman isn't playing with Bayern, he might elect to return to Juventus.

Obviously we don't know for sure if this is the case because it depends on the agreement that Bayern had with Juventus and Coman, but it doesn't seem to be like a Morata situation. With Morata, the recompra option had a signed contract from Morata ready for when Madrid exercised the option. I don't think this is the case for Coman, because it would be unlike other comparable deals.

For Coman, it could be as simple as Bayern not taking up on their option or him not wanting to be there. We got wingers now, and we seldomly deploy 4222 or 433. Would be interesting to see.
