This is how Juve stays competitive/sustainable imo; gobble up all the young talent and develop them. A big club operating like a smaller one. Were never gonna compete for established stars so just build them up yourself.

It has to be a healthy balance, there’s no need for having a full team of guys with 3 years experience at the highest level.

As for Boteli, it’s interesting what they will be planning to do. For the short term he’ll be bought for the Next Gen, but the interesting part is on what they agree to on the mid term. Boteli with his stats should be close to playtime with the first team, so are we planning to sign and loan next year, or to keep him and probably sell Kaio. Boteli has a strong position at the negotiations, will he agree a loan next year or demand a chance.

the formula has seemingly been established for prospects. They start with next gen and then either get integrated into the first team or loaned out for a season before returning or being sold. Adzic for example, I get the sense he’ll start with next gen with the idea of being promoted to the first team at some point next season. Not sure about Boteli, I know nothing about him and the forward department is pretty full.

admittedly i havent watched every wingback that closely, but to me hes the best young prospect in serie A at the position.

I certainly hope that we go for Filippo Terracciano rather than yet another forward. Somehow, we always miss out on wingbacks or midfielders.
