Although it’s hard to take the news seriously with that ‘pitbull’ reference i can imagine there is perhaps some truth to it in terms of a stop gap solution to reinforce the midfield, especially as a short term loan with no obligation/option.

Btw, wasn’t this the guy they used to call ‘the Yorkshire Pirlo’ ?
If he can stay fit I'm all for loaning him and push Loca to mezzala. He's no pirlo but he is a hard worker when he's at his best

agresti announced that renewals for locatelli and fagioli are done, and he replied one question about the potential winter midfield signing here:

so the club didn't pick the player yet, they are trying to find someone who would bring goals and assists

I hope we put some Casino clause for Fagioli.

A great idea 5 years ago, a good one 2-3 years ago. I like his grinta, but its not a good fit with the current stage in his career, dude might be finished or very close to it.
i trust you sers on this, haven't seen him for a while

no point in sideways steps even if loan without obligation isn't too risky. i think we've had enough of short term patches anyway

i'd be curious who would you get though. i have no idea, i just know that our midfield is thin af

In Serie A Id go for Koopmeiners, I think he's ready for the step up.
