Bro. Our midfield is shit, so we should try and bypass it. 4-2-3-1 ftw.
I would actually be looking at Kamara from Marseille - his contract is expiring, and he's young but experienced. Both him and Loca would be our starting midfield Duo. We won't be getting Tchouameni or Tielemans, not in winter or summer, but a Loca and Kamara double pivot supporting a Chiesa - Dybala - Cuads trident behind Kean/Random 9 on loan would work until the end of the seson.
In the summer, we are bound to lose De Ligt, so get as much money for him as possible and bring in Vlahovic and a new CB, in addition to Romagnoli (since it's bound to happen anyway). We can then play 4-3-3 when Dybala is injured/rested and a 4-3-3/4-2-3-1 when he's available. Recall Rovella from his loan spell, and perhaps bring in Pogba on a three year deal.
In the summer of 2023, we upgrade our FBs and bring in a new winger.

The funny thing is we have an obvious goal scoring problem and Origi has like 20 goals in his entire fucking career.

Not winter mercato, but the quality of players available for pre-agreements this Saturday is truly insane. I don’t expect a Mbappe or Pogba, but Kessie and Brozovic should be signable.
