I'd wait on the entire summer mercato to pass a judgment.

It's a simple reality we don't have the cash to fill every need with a top player. Let's say we get Tchouameni & Pogba (+ Rovella) instead... Hardly anything to complain about and probably a huge transformation of our game

So Dybala should not be renewed on 10m but Pogba should be signed on what would almost certainly be a higher salary. He is likely to be injured at least as often as Dybala and would contribute far less. And who's agent do you think would ask for a bigger commission?

Signing Scamacca probably doesn’t rule out signing Vlahovic next summer, but it would definitely be the end of Morata here.

Kean, Kaio, Vlahovic, Scamacca and Dybala seems like a cool attack. Kean’s future will be as a LW I think.

If Scamacca accepts 2/2.5m salary he’d be quite cheap in the books aswel, especially if we reach 40m with bonuses
Scamacca on a 4- year deal and 2.5 net salary would and end up costing 60m gross (40+4*5).

Dybala on 10m 4-year deal would cost 80m.

So, people here think that 80m for Dybala is way too expensive, but 60m for a nobody backup striker is cheap. Makes sense.

pogba can benefit from the tax relief. dybala (or vlahovic, or any other serie a player for that matter) can't. that's why we signed multiple mids from other leagues, and i expect it to be an integral part of our recruitment system until it's available.

(i won't suggest that pogba should be signed just because of the tax benefit. he shouldn't.)

I guess we can spin this any way we like if we use that logic. Like let's say; a regressing injury prone player with no resale value against an up & coming striker with big resale potential. Or basically 60 million investment against 80 million down the drain.

While the truth is obviously somewhere in between but the drama queens are at it, I see.

Juve focus entirely on the Sassuolo striker Scamacca with an offer that starts with a 30/35Mln€. For Gianluca soon a 1.5mln€ per season contract.(Gazzetta)
Jesus. If our sole focus to improve an attack that can’t score goals is to spend money on a striker who has no history of scoring goals then the management at this club need assassinating

Let's hope you're right. I seriously doubt we get Tchouameni though. We should be looking at Babacar, however. He has an expiring contract and has been balling for Marseille.

Yeah, doubt it too. Of course I only used it as an example. What I meant was; it's better to judge the mercato as a whole. We will not be getting our 4-5 preferred players. We jus can't and we all know it :)

How much would Gayá cost?
:boh:

he's out of contract in 1.5 years, half of pl must be wanting him. not cheap probably. but at least he's good and reliable enough.

previously rumored alternatives are gosens (i'd love to have him, but he's just coming back from a serious injury, who knows how crippled he is), calafiori (talented but completely inexperienced), cambiaso (worth a shot, mustn't be much worse than pellegrini). gayá is a mid/high cost, low risk alternative to these.

Did you just friggin suggest a nobody like Scamacca would be better to have then Dybala? Who has 100+ goals for the club and has saved us for countless of games?

And only few days ago someone said they rather Bernardeschi start instead of Dybal.

You fuckers are going so overboard with the hyperbole of hatred.

How?

He wouldn't be my first choice by any means but he is a much better Pellegrini. Has a fighting bone in him unlike Sandro and is simply a much better player than Pellegrini.
what do you mean by how? how to get him? cherubini should call his agent first, that would be a good start i guess.

who's your first choice? left back is usually a weak spot in most teams, but i couldn't mention anyone i'm particularly excited about. if it wasn't for his injuries, i'd try to take back spinazzola, otherwise i'd be fine with a reliable lb.

I meant how is Digne a sideways step? He is a much better player than all of our LBs right now.

Gaya would be my first choice, if he doesn't renew we can get him on cheap, but he's going to Barca IMO.

If we cannot get him I would not mind Digne at all.
