Besides Matri and De Ceglie, anyone else joining the first team right away?

What's the deal with beltrame.. why did we bring him back?
He sucked balls at Modena and stopped getting much playing time. We're probably trying to find a better situation for him...

Why does Sassuolo want Donis? Or why do we want him there? Will he even play? They already have Zaza, Berardi, Sansone, Floccari, Floro Flores in attack? Why would we send a SS there...?

Will it help us in bringing back Zaza and/or Berardi in the summer?

Lucas Ocampos on loan to Marseille. Really wish we had gone in for him instead of Matri. Would have given us the ability to play 4-3-3 at times, with him and Coman on the wings.
@Zacheryah

Imagine in 1-2 years having a front line of:

Ocampos--Morata--Coman

My understanding was that he was co-owned by sampdoria, so we paid to get him back, so we can find him a new club? He must have made some serious impression over at modena.

    probably to ease some future deals. Donis is a strange one. He didn't want to re-sign here not too long ago and now does and goes to Sassuolo. There were EPL clubs who wanted him.

    We really don't have a Tevez backup, Matri and Llorente can't play together. Morata could play with either but it won't be pretty. Coman is all we have.

    :agree:

    Gio was basically our Tevez sub. Morata--Llorente doesn't look terrible, but it's not great either. Or Morata--Matri which might be a slightly better combo. They should be alright for minnows. If Tevez ever gets an injury were pretty screwed, as I don't see those combos working against better opponents

    Allegri said Morata can be used as a second striker. When he came on against Parma for Coman in like the 80th min and played alongside Llorente, it didn't look too bad tbh. Morata netted the goal after, assisted by Llorente.

    The only way I would expect Coman to get some minutes would be in the absence of Tevez. I am dying to see a front 3 of Coman, Tevez, Morata. Coman and Morata have speed and can stretch defences with Tevez waiting in the middle. I think it would have been rather effective against Udinese. We were playing far too narrow as our wingbacks were not able to provide enough width as they were hesitant on the counter. A back 4 which largely stays back and a front 3 ready to roam around would offer a paradoxically better balance and a better attacking threat.

    Coman, Tevez and Morata would be a fluid front 3 as I could see Morata and Coman playing on either flank, Morata in the middle or even Tevez on the left. Damn I just wish Allegri would give that a shot.

    It was no surprise that the best chance in the match occured from Morata creating space down the left for Tevez in the middle.
