If we pay 30M for Zaza and Berardi we're a fucking joke.

15-20M for a fucking wide forward who has 6 goals this season, at least 1 is a penalty. 15M for a somewhat decent, young CF when we have Morata already who we paid 20M for to be our fucking young CF.

30M for those two, yeah how about no. How about take that 30M + Llorente's hopeful sale money and spend 35-40M on a fucking top class forward/Winger who would definitely make less wages than LLORENTE + BERARDI + ZAZA combined.

Mark already said what our mercato will likely shape out to be. What he said looks the most realistic. We will get Mkhtithidhsi idk how you spell his name, Berardi, Zaza, Rugani, maybe the vrsljako(is that hwo u spell it), and the purchase of pereyra.

Spending what's that close to 80M and the only players we should be spending any of that on is Mkhi and Rugani. If we spend that much on those players we can stfu about not having a big enough budget, a proper top team would do some serious business with that.

That's 25M€ to 30M€ gone from the summer budget....on our own players. And then we cry that we don't have budget to buy established players that can make a difference.
But... But... He's perfect! That can't be! He gave us 3 scudetti and probably a 4th!

We should have stfu long time ago. If we stopped throwing away a million here, another there we could actually afford someone's salary which is higher than our current squad's.

If we paid 20 for Morata we surely must have had a little more, 25, maybe 30mil or maybe even more. We could certainly afford a player in that price range with a 7,8 mil salary. This excuse of being broke is getting old and only the Marotta dick riders can't see.

are you still confident that the summer mercato will be bigger than last summers though?
Define bigger: quality? quantity? transfer fees? jaw-dropping record transfers? one that satisfies badass & cronios so we don't have to hear them all season long?

Define bigger.

If we go in to the 2015/16 season with shit width yet again i'm done with our transfer policy. Any blind man, any idiotic pundit who got a seat on a panel purely because he was a footballer once upon a time can now see two things.

A) Width is a huge part of football now, any and all top teams have it in abundance.

Who the fuck wants to try and defend for 90 minutes against a pair of wingers, hell bent on running at you and forcing you in to action? As opposed to teams like us, where we have some big guy, barely moving all game long causing no real trouble to defenders. Not forcing teams in to anything, teams can wait for us to fuck up in the final 3rd because we leave ourselves with nothing but forced play through the middle, often trying pointless 1-2's infront of the oppositions defence.

B) At Juve, we have NO width. We rely on our full backs AKA our DEFENDERS to do their job AND on top of that, try and do a wingers job. This is stupid. This is just tactically naive.

Now getting away from that cancerous piece of shit that was 3-5-2, was a good step. And I thank Allegri for it. But if we don't start going after wingers (Berardi offers nothing a genuine winger does, so don't mention him) then we're always going to have quite an obvious weakness, and no matter how much quality we jam pack the midfield with, we're still going to be relentlessly trying to break teams down by making obvious passes through the middle that any half decent team can usually deal with.

Thankfully in Serie A, teams shit their pants when they play us and give us too much respect. Even with Morata drifting about in wide positions we look twice as fluid and dangerous in attack, and he's far from the ideal wide player. We're so one dimensional despite our World Class midfield, because we can only really hurt the opposition in certain ways. We can't remotely stretch games and give opposing full backs headaches. And god forbid we creat a crossing opportunity, because in the odd instance that we do, our DEFENDERS have a shit delivery.

one that will be of greater improvements to our current starting 11 and not another window largely made up of depth signings or underwhelming short term solutions

Well, adding Berardi alone would improve our starting 11: Berardi in place of Pepe or Pereyra (behind the strikers) would improve our team.

What an easy question.

I think all of us can agree Berardi is better than both.

berardi is not a trequartista though... and I can't see us switching to a 4-3-3 on a more permanent basis. let's assume allegri is sticking with his favoured 4-3-1-2 for next season and berardi and zaza were our biggest signings at 30 mill combined would you call that a good transfer campaign or not?
