Imagine how inter felt when we signed pirlo, barzagli and Pogba for free. Or Vidal or Llorente for free and we built a team that would dominate.

Can't go on forever mate
Can we stop referencing the past FFS?! We signed those guys ages ago, except for Llorente (and he hasn't exactly been firing on all cylinders).

What significant acquisitions, aside from Tevez, have we made since the Summer of 2012? The only major swoop we made over the past 4 mercatos (Winter 2013 and 2014, Summer 2013 and 2014) has been Tevez. Other than that, it has been a bunch of fillers and underwhelming purchases, in addition to a few promising youngsters who haven't had a chance to do shit.

we should sack him for winning 3 back to back titles, on way for fourth and being in cl

that will teach him and others that we dont like it when you win around here
:howler: I see Marotta the coach has done a wondrous job indeed.

Stick to Ice Hockey Brah. That, and Maple syrup.

Well, this discussion is going round in circles :)

However, I can accept by now that the management gives out the agenda, that we cannot compete (yet) with other big clubs and do not the money to spend as they have. If we are lucky we will spend some money in the upcoming summer mercato with the Adidas deal pending and the one or other Euro from the Champions League. Nevertheless, I cannot see why we get players like Pereyra then (no matter how bad or good he is)? We have a lot of young players loaned to clubs we could get back for nothing or less. But maybe, as some already suggested, this is the board's strategy and next summer Berardi and the likes will come back. But how should this work if young players do get hardly any playing time? For example Coman? Hell, even Morata, who cost us 20 Mil. does not play enough. Furthermore, if this really is their plan, they should have seen things coming and got Sneijder or an equivalent for less in summer already or at least setup the transfer.

It appears they are putting no thought in this and there is no strategy at all.

This is so awesome. Inter brings in Podolski and Shaqiri. While Juve in the midst of great 1 win, 4 draw, 1 loss run, decides to bring in a unfit and over the hill Sneijder. :tuttosport:
:lol: :tup:

Evra is back up why are we worried about replacing him? We still need to find a starting LB that is actually a LB :D

Pirlo = Marchisio & Sturaro

Tevez = Berardi

Barzagli = Rugani

it's certain to say that last summers mercato was hugely underwhelming and quite easily the worst in the last 4 years, I keep reading about how marotta wants to add 'quality' and not quantity yet we're still buying players for added 'depth' as you say there appears to be no thought put into the strategy right now and instead happy to consolidate their dominance in the league (which looks under threat) I've always said to be successful you need to build on your success, we failed to do that in the summer and I fear we are now entering into the wrong direction for it

I wouldn't underestimate Berardi. But I doubt he will come or if so, he will get no playing time. When it comes to young talents, we tend to fuck things up. I wonder how Pogba managed to turn into a starter.

Fuck Cavani and that Koala faced midget cunt. Pogba stays :stuckup:

Sneijder is a waste of resources and space for us. He will bring us discontinuity in our playing style and he is done, this isn't a genius like pirlo nor a warrior like tevez. On top of that can help us in the CL.

The solution we should go for is balotelli 15 mil, cl eligibility and we get a solid talent. Juvetic for summer
:lol: :rofl: :howler:

Talk about disrupting the squad by adding an idiot and an injury prone albeit talented individual.

The way i see this mercato for juve, it doesnt make much sense to spend alot of money. We are pretty much garanteed either 1 or 2 in serie a, which will garantee cl. We can progress in cl this year, with the team we have, and even spending 15-20m on a player might not make a diff. At all. And even if it did, we are extremly unlikly to challange for a place in the final anyway.

After changing coach suddenly, we are doing better than expected (imo), we progressed in cl. In other words its nothing wrong with our season so far. Better so save the money and evaluate allegri, the team and which formation will be used from next year.

Inter are spending money and are taking risks bc the reward might be worth it (cl). Thats a completly different situation than ours.
