I'd honestly love us to ignore this current generation of Italians they really are shit. Doesn't help that we lack trickery, pace and width which is 3 things Italian coaches love to stamp out of young players games in favour of dat tactical awareness.

In that case we'll sell them and have a buyback clause included.
Correct me if im wrong but dont we fully own Sturaro anyway?
Yes he's ours. He's just on loan there.

Some names dropped here are decent but I have a feeling it won't go that way. As things stand it seems we will once again spend too much on youngsters and buying out the loaned players. Yeah these things are paid in installments but those are really big sums. Pereyra and Berardi make it almost 30m to be paid. And there's still Rugani + Zaza (another 15m) that we want to buy out for some weird reason (Llorente's replacement?).

It looks chaotic and it's difficult to guess what moves the board will make but there's strong will to make it 'the Italian way'. By looking at the number of players/ positions we're linked to/supposed to fix it looks like we once again won't go for quality but rather quantity.

Is Berardi even having a great yr in the first place?

It would be kinda fucked up to buy his half for 15m when a more experienced Shaqiri could become available for the same or similar price.

Looks like it's going to be a harsh summer. 38M on Rugani, Pereyra and Berardi, at least Rugani will provide us depth and the promise of a great defender, and Berardi will provide our team wide.

With Rugani on the team maybe we could sell Ogbonna or Caceres, since we would have 6 (six) centerbacks for 2 (two) spots. 5 is more than enough IMO.

As much as I love Caceres, I think he would be the most logic option, since he doesn't provide us enough confidence to play him on a back 4 and realistically he's not good enough to play as a fullback in a 4312. And if someone bring us some sweet cash for him, we should take it.

It depends on what the management is planning. Maybe Allegri is not expecting any 'bigger' transfers and that way Marotta can waste the whole budget :p

I think we'll buy out Berardi no matter what. As for Zaza I don't understand why we'd need him but both Marotta and Nedvd hinted at such possibility. Maybe Allegri is unhappy with Llorente and Morata so he wants someone else. I don't know but it seems we're linked to him regularly and there could be something on it. We'll see.

Probably with Berardi is he isn't a real winger. He will drift inside more than staying out wide.

Do we know for sure we'll take up our options on Pereyra and Romulo? I don't think they're worth the fees. Berardi I think is a no brainer and is Rugani, but I wouldn't take up the options on the other two and save the $$$ for other opportunities.

The expenditures planned for Pereyra, Romulo and the actual expenditure for Morata are much too high, and I still don't understand the deal given the risk/reward profile. I'm in the camp that you spend the 40MM on an impact player (not Iturbe - happy we dodged that bullet), and either loan or spend a few million on depth. Quite frankly, the difference between a Romulo sitting on the bench or another place holder isn't that large.

Romulo we wont unless he plays alot when he comes back from his injury. There was a clause within his contract if he played 70% of juve games then the purchase was obligated. Maybe we will renew his loan. Pereyra on the other hand we will buy for sure

14M on Pereyra isnt that much. if he was playing in the BL or EPL his price would be 25M+ and everyone here would want him
Nah, not if his endproduct continues to be this weak.

I don't really think we overpay with 16 million as well though, especially keeping in mind his low wages.
