@Hustini

we arent linked to him. but he is too perfect for us to not consider him. hardworking, creative AM who can drift out wide, cross, score, shot from distance, make through passes to our forwards etc. since he would be our only AM he would start almost all games and have the ball in his feet most of the time since he would be our main creative source. and he isnt cup tied which means if we can get him in January we would become much more dangerous in the CL and maybe earn some unexpected extra money there. he would get the chance to prove himself in the CL and earn maybe even a starting spot for the Selecao at the upcoming Copa America.

now, Mark says 30M+ but i dont believe him. i never saw Hoffenheim sell for big money. and they had some nice players like Luiz Gustavo or Demba Ba for example. i think we could get him for 25M if we try to get him in January

You have to consider Firmino is possibly the biggest player they had recently. And he's Brazilian, that alone puts his price up there.

He won't go for cheap, you can be sure of that.

And who is to say Bayern doesn't pursue?
They would be massive douches as they don't need a player like him right now. Firmino usually plays a free role like Tevez, he's everywhere even helping the defense and mid.

Bayern have Gotze, Muller and at least 3 other players who can do that role. On the other hand, Dortmund fans say they'll go for him seeing as Reus is leaving.

We should be quicker with new talents like we did with Pogba. Remember we almost landed Neymar in 10' or 11'? Then he went on to win the Libertadores and his price went sky high.

You have to take a chance with those players before everybody else notices them. I think it's too late.

It's not that much about SES for me but rather about specific characteristics. We need a creative winger/am that will make the clock ticking upfront. As for now everything is on Tevez's shoulders and it's very wrong. We play 4312 recently but what we have behind strikers is a huge hole.

We might argue which one of the likes Firmino, Shaqiri or even SES is better but the biggest problem is that no proper reinforcement will come here if we don't have cash (or simply don't want to spend it). It's not about January only but overall transfer market strategy that has to change if we are to significantly improve our starting 11. I know it won't happen in January, that's for sure but without it I can't see us getting past Dortmund. We're good as we things stand in terms of depth and we really need some quality upfront.

As for now the only realistic option remains Berardi who's a very talented kid but a bit of a gamble not ready to help us in CL.

    Throw Rugani in there too

    I don't think we would take anyone from Sass so they aren't weakened half way thru a season
