Mata would be amazing.

And if Coman really becomes top talent I am sure we would consider a 4-2-3-1 to fit them both.

But yeah, we are not getting him eitherway.

One might say he's the new Del Piero, just a little bit better of course.

When you all talk about players like Mata or Falcao, you don't mind about their wages.
Since our maximum wages are 5m we can't afford players like Mata.

It's not about if we can afford him, but rather if it would be possible to get him we considering we have Coman. And we should Coman should not even be taken into consideration if we can sign a world class player.

whats matas wages
At a brief glance, I see the word was that Man Utd doubled his £70k per week Chelsea wage.

Assuming the English are doing their normal thing and including the tax in the number they report, that would come out a just about 5m euros per year before tax.

Mata is a significant investment. Why would we sign Mata when we have a great talent comming trough, if there are other area's to improve ?

Should we have gotten Weah in 1995 When we had the massive prodigy of Del Piero in our ranks ?
If we had the chance back then, then we should've definitely signed him. Weah was 29 at the time, and Del Piero barely 22, a 7 year gap, so I don't think it would've impacted his development in as negative a manner as you are suggesting.

Not signing Mata because Coman may or may not become World Class in 4 years time is like refusing a £5,000,000 reward because you may or mat not win the Lottery at some stage in your life.

I agree that Mata is currently better than Coman but I`d still would like to wait until january with this as I think Coman will be the next big thing!
If Coman shows what I expect him to show then I`d pass on Mata (unless Allegri has a plan to field both...)
Mata is a great player but its not like he is Messi or C.Ronaldo... He is a very capable player but not one of a kind type of player!
As for someone who mentioned Fabregas with the Pogba situation I`d sign Fabregas and field him next to Pogba... There is no reason why they cant play together...

BTW Alex Sandro - would you sign him should Porto for some reason decide to cash in on him?

Sirigu's contract (GK of PSG) ends in 2015, he's 27 and last season he received 32 goals in 47 games. Would you make a pre-contract in January to sign him for free in summer? His salary is 3m.

Yeah, but if you're a phd dektor you know what numbers are winning just by your natural intellectual powers and muscle mass, so that's like refusing 100 mil next saturday.

Buffon is way past it and isnt worth 6M a season no matter what anyone here say
Sirigu I wouldnt mind him for free but I rather we sign a new young talented GK that will learn from Buffon and then in a couple of years take his place

As for Buffon we should try lowering his wages as he is not a 6M a season GK anymore!
