What about Vidal's missed PK threatening our CL progress? :D
I think Vidal is getting his for back. If he has no injuries he'll probably be our best player till season's end. Too bad we'll have to sell him in 2016 to replace our aging stars.

Vidal is showing major signs of his former self. And it couldn't have come at a better time.

This question?

Yes if we play a 4312 he wouldn't have added much. Perhaps more than Pereyra behind the strikers but certainly not what we would have paid for him. Giovinco could add more than Pereyra and not cost us anything until we find a genuine AMC.

...
So you would be unhappy had we signed him ? Would you have criticized Marotta for not signing a player that fits the team's needs ?

Why do you think I wanted Sneijder here and not Shaqiri. Sneijder would have helped this team where we are lacking because the formation would have fit hiim better. I highly doubt Allegri would have changed formations again. If we were using a 433 then I'd prefer to have Shaqiri than Sneijder but we aren't so it didn't make sense to waste the money on Shaqiri only to play him in a position that isn't ideal for him.

This isn't rocket science.

or pereyra's miss that effectively cost us the supercup? ;)
The whole team tanked that day.

And to answer the Marotta part yes I would have criticized him for it. (For The Cusp)

actually pereyra had 2 misses as he also had a clear shot on goal which was cleared off the line as well as his penalty miss and partially at fault for the equaliser, Vidal always knew his penalty miss was never going to put us in doubt he's that amazing ;)

Vidal wins 3-1 :weee:

When Messi and Ronaldo are past their prime, Pogba will be football poster boy/best player. We will sell him only if he wants. Directors at Juve know that and are unwilling to lose their jobs.

As for the Pogba <-> Cavani and Verratti rumors I agree with @CrimsonianKing after thinking it through. I'd make that swap because both Pogba and Verratti are WC young players, both play B2B so if we gave away Pogba we'd have a WC replacement in Verratti but also we'd get a fantastic striker in Cavani. I can't believe some people here don't seem to rate him, he's a WC forward.

Imagine we'd go from this:

Buffon
Licht - Bonucci - Chiellini - Asamoah
Vidal - Marchisio - Pogba
Berardi/*
Llorente - Tevez

to this:

Buffon
Licht - Bonucci - Chiellini - Asamoah
Vidal - Marchisio - Verratti
Berardi/*
Cavani - Tevez

The latter is definitely much better and actual difference here makes Cavani.

As for Verratti - Pogba comparisons I think many unfairly overrate Pogba here. If Pogba is WC then Verratti definitely is too. It's just Juve fans' unjustified hate towards Verratti that makes them being so wrong about the kid. Verratti improved a lot at PSG, Ancelotti knew what he was doing when he bought him. He's different to Pogba definitely but it could turn out to be good for us since Pirlo is somewhat close to leaving and by replacing him with Marchisio we get more defensive stability but we lose creativity. Verratti has fantastic vision and passing while he's good with ball at his feet, it's difficult to take it away from him. He's very good defensively too. I watched him playing against Barca this season and he had some fantastic tackles as well as interceptions against players like Neymar and Iniesta. Commentators were all jizzing their pants over his defensive work which was justified.

I'd hate to lose Pogba who's definitely a player that you build your team around but we're already stagnating and if we don't improve Pogba will get fed up with RO16 year after year and eventually leave. Verratti is also a player that you build your team around and he'll be easier to keep here since he's Italian.

Some people wouldn't do it and that's fine but actually it won't happen not because of our board but because of PSG's. Too bad they won't make such an offer for us.

* Berardi or someone else, I'm not sure if we'll be able to do better during the Summer but it doesn't really matter here.

Cavani young ? A month from now he's only 2 years younger than the oldtimer Sneijder...

We're not selling The Pogs, simply because I don't have his jersey yet...

Marchisio has played better in the Pirlo role than Pirlo this season. Please
Really did you read my post?If you didn't I will repeat .I am not comparing Pirlo and Marchisio but Marchisio and Sturaro as you pointed Pirlo=Marchisio&Sturaro????? That's why I said how can you compare Marchisio with Sturaro.
