One of our biggest problems right now are also our CB's. Chiellini doesn't know what offside trap is, more skilled players will run all over him. Bonucci has brain farts every single game he has the most potential out of all CB's but I guess he is another late bloomer. We need Barzagli type of player, a leader in defense. When he was healthy he was covering up for the mistakes that Bonucci and Chiellini made in back 3.

This is humilliating to Marotta.

Pereyra cost 17M.

unfuckingbelievable... we are heading to the wrong direction.
Very easy solution: don't do business with Udinese, Lazio, or Torino.
It's better to buy off foreign clubs who don't want to sell to competition and via the unnecessary recycling of players by the Real Madrids, Bayerns, and Barcelonas of the world.
What these teams don't realize is that the sum of the parts isn't always the best way to gauge the final product. A lot of those players are very good and are used to because focal points of their respective teams. When they become ancillary to a Ronaldo, they may not shine.

Some of you guys will go on and on about how Shaqiri is a better deal thenPereyra and we can debate it all day but the fact of the matter is we will continue to do business with italian clubs and over pay a few million euros because of the installments. these 18m euros are payable in 4 years allowing us to allocate more money to the mercato where as the shaqiri deal is most likely 13m obligation in the summer. Take what you want from it but I still see us as winners.

Inter also will pay those 13mln in installments, so there goes your theory.

How can inter afford him and Podolski? FFP gon screw them
Funny thing about FFP. In a lot of ways it's bad. I understand being against consistent deficits but clearly one way to grow a teams popularity is through deficit financing. Manchester City was a below average club in an average city. They bought several players pre FFP, which allowed them to be successful, which led to revenue growth. No they can support their wages. Teams on the decline like the Milans now are limited in their means to increase the profile of their teams through acquiring high profile targets. It's not good for Serie A, meanwhile Man City, Chelsea and PSG took advantage of this when it was possible and are now huge clubs.

See the strange thing here is that you'd imagine teams are well versed with time value of money. Paying through instalment should mean that the overall sum is higher. You still owe the payments to a counter party and in a bankruptcy, these should be settled first before financial debts are paid off. So why doesn't Juve just pay straight cash and utilize a secured credit facility. My guess is that Juve's rate on financing isn't great, because these instalments are just a way of not calling a loan a loan.

It makes sense for teams like Sassuolo who probably pay 10% but our cost of capital can't be that bad. It's higher than 10 years ago but rates are very low in Europe. I don't even want to think about how much Bayern borrows at. It's probably comical.

Majority of transfers nowadays are in installments and there's nothing weird about that. It's just one of the excuses people invented to go in their defense.

Do you think any of those 50mln transfers is direct cash in hands? Please.
