Shaq to Inter really sucks. Good player in an awesome price for today's market. We were so interested in the beginning of the transfer window. What happened? Maybe Allegri was a natural AMC? He played there in the world cup though and he was very good. Its a pity.

GDM said Pool offered 20m but he'll go to inter for less. :sergio:
One competitive advantage that Italy will always have over England is weather and culture. Weather in Italy is clearly better. Culturally, Italy will usually win when wages are equal if the target is Albanian, from the Baltic, or from South America. The cultures are more similar. One of my coworkers is Albanian and she basically confirmed that Albanians tend to have an affinity for Italian culture. Similarly, for Argentines in particular, the cultures are also very similar. We will always beat EPLs to some signings because of these factors. Is it a coincidence that Tevez has been a complete professional here while being moody in England....I doubt it. Tevez even confirmed that Turin reminded him of Argentina. Players go to England for the money...that's it. The Spanish Giants have both so they get which ever target they want.

Although I'm not a huge Shaqiri fan, I gotta say that deal was pretty damn good for Inter. I did expect a might higher fee, something like what Liverpool was/is offering which is 18-20mln.

But 2mln + 13mln obligation on todays market AND in January? That's a good deal in my books. Props to Inter for signing both him and Podolski.

He's a striker and probably saw how Feyenoord turned Pelle from a zero to a hero...or at least a serviceable striker.
