we were this summer with roma, samp and other clubs interested. We should look for a pure LB instead and have Rugani for the LCB spot and a guy like Schär for RCB.

If we're sticking with a back 4, why is it necessary to have 6 defenders for 2 spots? I know we have a few injuries now but surely stuff like this happen.

That is more than enough. Few teams in Europe have more than 4 non-youngster defenders. Signing a 6th one would be excessive, especially since we have nothing at AM which is a position we actually started using and LB.

Well this is the way I see it. Our starting duo will be Chiellini and Bonucci for a while. Caceres could be our alternative at both lb and rb as well as cb, and we don't really know when Barzagli will return to fitness. Therefore we technically only have 4 cbs, and one of them could be used in other positions.

Anyways, I doubt Schär makes much sense for Juve with all those CB's already in place.
I think a transfer to a club like, lets say, GladbachD) makes way more sense for him as he could develop even more and go to a bigger club later on in his career.
